CEA has been doing 2 stunt sequences WAYYYYY before 2010. I dont know why it came as a shock then. Maybe because they had a "highlighted" stunt, but whichever the case may be, the score sheet evolves and in return pushes the industry in a new positive direction. What is legal now, was not legal a few years back. Obviously we know, these atheltes are capable of difficulty so why limit it.

Unlike many people here who are blinded by the uniform a team wears, I appreciate good skill for what it is. Shooting Stars are off to a strong start this season - and, as I said on Facebook, I appreciated and was entertained by their routine. Thanks @xtremeteal4life for setting him straight.

Did I ever say that @meanj didn't like World Cup's routine? or World Cup in general? no. I was pointing out that their statement basically saying CEA was the first to do 2 stunt sequences, and the reason it now is basically a requirement. I give credit where credit is do, and yes CEA has played a large part in the way stunting has advanced, but that wasn't playing devil's advocate, that was playing "I'm gonna point out the only reason Stars are doing it is because of CEA"

That was playing devils advocate to your rather targeted post about the differences between the teams. I really don't understand how you didn't get that but ok..

I can tell you from my years with Top Gun, our showcase was in no way indicative of how well our teams would do. In fact it seemed the worse a team did at the showcase, the better season they had!

I am just so pleased how clean some of these teams already look. Can't wait for the real part of the season to begin!

Since NO ONE seems to understand what I meant with what I said, yet I'm the one who needs to learn reading comprehension, I never questioned ANY coach's ability to create a stunt/routine that hits the score sheet, I did not criticize Senior Elite for doing what they are doing in their routines, my post was meant to point out the fact that we are all saying World Cup needs more difficulty to stand up to Senior Elite, saying that they are not capable of beating CEA with what they have, and yet no one is realizing that World Cup's stunt in fact hits the score sheet just as well as Cheer Extreme's, arguably better depending on the score sheet. THAT was what I meant. I was trying to get across that we all think that you need the craziest stunt with something that's never been done before to win, when in fact you don't, and Stars, among other teams, have done VERY well with seemingly simpler stunts that still hit the score sheet.

I'm not criticizing CEA for doing that stunt, I'm just saying that that isn't what you need to do to win, and yet people seem to think that it is. CEA can do what they want, I was simply pointing out that you don't NEED to be doing those things to hit the scoresheet and still come out on top.

not true...he has said NOTHING but nice things about WCSS routine....why ya gotta hate...he is fair and balanced...
