Yeah that coach needs to find a new job because that was just embarrassing for those girls. They would have scored better in the other division. I feel like this was a "it is for the experience" type of team.

Louisville smoed: OOB and pyamid bobble everything else was good.
I'm all for "the Experience!" But let's at least TRY to make it a positive one! I see it in All Stars way too often. One full does not make a level 5 team!

Someone please tell Eastern Connecticut that there is an intermediate division for them to enter. At least they have squad standing handsprings...

Oh my. After skimming 1 min and 22 seconds of their routine, I now retract my statements about CCU and apply them to Eastern Connecticut.

Okay proposal for NCA, please make All Girl DIII strictly an intermediate division, please.

Absolutely not! OCC had the highest score of the day for awhile. The top two teams both outscored all of the All Girl DI teams, and at least one of those teams already have an intermediate team.

That division has always been pretty competitive with UMass Dartmouth, Elmira, Bridgewater State, OCC, etc.

The average score in AG III is 8.259 and AG I 8.481, which is to be expected since they're, you know, a DIII school. They could just go back to combining DII and DIII like they used to. But I wouldn't think it's fair to penalize the tops at the top of that division who could hang with DI.

Am I the only one noticing that a lot of teams arent doing jumps to back but rather toe touch handspring tuck?

For a second I wondered if they made jumps to back illegal so I started skimming the rules....

But then I decided to just wait for Louisvilles video.

They changed the scoring last year. You get more points for those than jumps to back. Jump to tuck gets you in the 8-9 range, jump to bhs-tuck/layout gets you in the 9-10 range.

Really? From personal experience I always felt like jumps to hand tuck were harder.... but I thought I was in the minority because the USASF certainly didn't agree.

So I'm guessin' UofL does jump hand full

Just got word the girl on South Carolina all girl dislocated her knee. They have an alternate down there and are reworking things for Challenge Cup.

Yeah most schools (those in the 1A divisions) do jumps to full. It started last year. These other teams that are scary seem to be the ones doing jumps to hand tuck.
