OK insomnia is not a good thing, I sit there playing with designs  I didn't realise until tonight that I could do this - imagine all the fun I have been missing out on!!! I really appreciate all the comments you guys are posting :)

I love these skirts much better! I think I like the 1st and 2nd uniforms best, especially those skirts, but I do like the top of the 3rd one. I'm sure whatever you choose will look great!

For your original idea, I was just thinking about a lot of high schools around me. They have uniforms with color blocking (kind of like this) down the sides of the uniforms. It looks cute and slimming in regular clothing, but for cheerleading the top and the skirt never line up right, especially if you're competing. I'm a little OCD so it bothers me haha.

Thanks for your comments but Just-a-Mom is right, this was from quite a while ago and our uniforms are now made (similar to top 3 and skirt 2) and the pic is up in the uniform thread ;) cheercurl it's not Comets from NJ, we are a UK team :)

glitterdiva is the black mesh? I've seem a couple of cute unis with black mesh and rhinestones recently and it looks lovely. I like the concept of it, very clean and sharp :)

No mesh the dots are where I want the rhinestones to. My friend's gym did the black mesh with sequins and almost all of the sequins have fallen off.

I think Vanessa forgot to read before she posted. Lawdy! Just-a-Mom it's exhausting keepin these kids straight!

Well, you don't have to worry about keeping me in line!
And I am terribly sorry that I didn't check the dates or read every single post. Maybe my opinion can help someone who is reading this thread and creating a uniform soon. I appreciate the thoughtfulness, although you could have chose to ignore this :)

Or you could learn to read a thread before you post. Welcome to the fierceboard.

You also were unable to tag my username correctly in the post, so doesn't that say something? We all make mistakes. It is not necessary to point out every single one, especially over the internet or to a person you know nothing about.
Also, I was not raised to solve problems by being rude or mean about things right off the bat, but if that's how you choose to handle situations over the internet, by all means go ahead.

I thought it was pretty obvious that I'm new around here so thank you for showing me I need to walk on egg shells around some people, I'll be very careful not to make any more minor mistake. As far as I know, every thread is open to discussion and each person's own opinion, so I don't see why I had to be ridiculed when I gave mine. I've not met everyone on this board and probably never will, but I'm sure many people could have handled it with a little empathy. I am glad you seem amused by this though.

Calm down suzie. Just read the threads before you post. If you're going to be sensitive about the replies you're going to get, then don't post on the boards. One of our biggest pet peeves is with those that don't read before they post.
Keep that in mind and you can stop walking on eggshells. And keep a sense of humor too, it'll do you some good to pull out your wedgie and relax.

I am perfectly calm, I am simply defending myself (even though I have done nothing wrong, offensive, or cruel towards you or anyone else). I was taught to have a little bit of sympathy towards others and not call them out simply for laughs or to make an example out of them. And considering the fact that you're name calling and mocking me, I do think I have to walk on egg shells a little bit.
