Lol, she actually did it tonight at another gym. (we have to watch our kids like little bugs on a tv screen at this gym:() so you can barely see it and I about screamed. Then I remembered I'm not at our gym and all the other moms thought I was a spy so I sat quiet!

Since we had to watch it on tv I couldn't record it but she has practice tomorrow and although I won't be there if someone does not video it tomorrow I'll take one on Monday!

And thanks:))
yay can't wait to see it!

Kris10boo Did you daughter ever get her standing tuck? I saw a video of her working on it in another thread so i'm just curious.

Honestly she hasn't worked on it much, this was back in feb standing on edge of the track!!!

I just uploaded this for u so if it don't play give it like 10 mins because it still "processing" lol

But no she doesn't have it yet:(

Its ok, that one looked really good anyways.:)

So, I'm not paying much attention at my CP's private last week. She was working layouts which I'm used to seeing so I was texting and chilling out. One thing about this CP it takes her FOREVER to get a new skill, but when she gets it, it's technically correct (no clean up required). Back handsprings, tucks, layouts...same story. Months upon Months until you can really say she's "got it." So I look up because I thought I heard the coach explaining how to spin....?!.... our gym is all about progression in baby steps, perfection and then more progression so we start with halfs. And what do I see....

This video was actually done the next day at the tye dye party which explains the clothes...She's actually already cleaned this up and today...only a week later, is getting this 3/4 of the way around! already!

Then there is her brother.....who has been cleaning up his layouts. The coach decided to introduce him to the half today jsut to see if he could get the arms, and set right etc...

and this is what he does....

Um....WHAT?! get that boy some landing gear and Aviator will have officially taken him from level -1 to 5 in 3 years! He's already go a triple toe back.

I started out just playing with some photos and videos a few weeks ago and started to put together a video on a whim. But after watching the progression of my cp over her four years of cheer makes me feel so proud of her and I just really wanted to share. Especially because she couldn't tumble for almost a year because of a back to back broken arm (broke it once doing a cartwheel of all things and then rebroke it again the first day she was cleared to go back to tumbling). I'm amazed at how far she has come. Way to go my girl!!!

So i'm really proud of my best friend, Madi. SheShe really wants to cheer on one of the teams she lived near, but since her family moves around so much they didn't wan't to commit to a team. They're expected to stay in this place for a couple of years, so next season she is going to cheer, and she's really been working on her scorpion.
here's March of this year:

What a wonderful video and celebration of your CP. Thanks for sharing!

I usually don't post much really nothing at all but.... I'm just sooo proud of my CP!! She competed at the Jr Olympics for T&T in Long Beach ,Ca this past week/weekend and is coming home a Silver medalist in Level 10 Tumbling, Gold medalist in tumbling for the ODP (Olympic Development Program)meet and was named to the T&T Olympic Program National Team and received an invite to represent USA in the 2012 Loule Cup in Portugal and to the International Development Camp in Huntsville,Tx. She competed two new tumble passes and one of those she just learned in warmups because she needed to increase her difficulty lol and it worked. She has had a roller coaster of a year. injured and returning just in time for Worlds and won her second title with Panthers and then preparing for Nationals. We are soo proud of her!!
Ok thats pretty much it

Thank you
:)

I posted on here a couple of months ago that I wanted my RO BHS tuck by September (I'd never even heard of tumbling/a roundoff before March, so most people I spoke to thought it was pretty ambitious to say the least). Anyway, I went to a camp yesterday and got a tuck! I'm just so excited! I haven't tried doing all three together yet but I'm hoping this means that I can try out for level 3 this year :)
Sorry, I needed to say this somewhere because I told some of my non-cheer friends about it and they didn't have a clue what a back tuck was!

Congrats!! *Computer hugs* haha But basically same thing happen to me!! Except I had my tuck in March/April nut lost it when my set was so low, I was afraid I'd hit the ground. But, after months of spotting and confidence regain I got it back by myself better than ever!! :)
