Large Senior Results since 2004

year - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

2004 - Cheer Athletics , Maryland Twisters, American, Memphis Elite
2005 - Maryland Twisters, Cheer Athletics, American, Cheer Dynamix
2006 - CA, Charlotte, MT, World Cup
2007 - WC, CA, CEA, MT
2008 - WC, CEA, MT, FCA (CA 7th)
2009 - WC, CA, CEA, MT
2010 - CEA, WC, CA, MT
2011 - MT, WC, CEA (CA wins Small Senior)
2012 - CEA, MT, WC (CA wins Medium Senior)

Another way to look at it - the division has been contested at Worlds 9 times. Gold is about as evenly spread out amongst 4 programs as is possible.

3 - World Cup
2 - Cheer Athletics
2 - Cheer Extreme
2 - Maryland Twisters

Keep in mind the only way to do a real comparison amongst teams is to do the skill-by-skill comparison that someone usually does and utilize a real scoresheet.

Of course it will change throughout the season, but its an accurate starting point and more accurate than the "this team gives me life. . that team is boring" comparison.

Thank you for this!! AGREED

Ok, I'll play. Average finish since 2004 as listed. Uncertain if WC competed in 2004/05. CEA started 2007, CA did not compete 2 years, MT all 9 (props to them)

1. WC 1.85
2. CEA 2.16
3. CA 2.57
4, MT 2.66

I like baseball BTW. Did not double check.

Don't get me wrong I am a huge Brandon fan, and I would kill for a chance to cheer there, but they don't have that "I ain't even trying" feel to their stunts.

They're a powerhouse who does the craziest stuff ever, but you can tell they're working hard (which is somethig to be proud of in and of itself).

But CEA tick tocking an GBE spinning it up looks effortless.
I'm jealous of Brandon's strength, but I wanna know the secret to making it look easy.

When I was in gym my coach used to say the best gymnasts can blow your mind while looking like they aren't even trying, I wanna learn to do that lol

I feel you, but when BSB does stuff like this:

I'm like, "really"?

But, I know what you're saying and thank you!

Well actually WC should be 2.0 with 2006 included, missed that one. Others look right.

Oh, sorry, missed one for CA. should be (0,2,1,1). Freud has known me for years. But anyway, glad you're back in the sandbox. Should be fun.

Cheer Tyme's good, don't get me wrong, and I like their routine, but I don't think it's enough in this division. It's hard to tell from far away, but from what I can tell that would have been a killer medium all girl routine.

But day 1 they placed 1st out of 7 with 0 deductions. Not bad for a first time team.

They're at a competition with none of the top 5 large senior teams, and arguably none of the top 5 in medium senior to compete against. They have a lot of talent, and they're very clean, but I personally don't see them standing a chance against the big teams in large.

Have to agree with the post above. For a first year gym they are clean and do have a fair amount of difficulty, however as far as considering them in the mix for these top 5 fighting it out I don't see it. Standing tumbling and stunting as a whole are weak for the division. It's not to say its weak in general...just comparing them to the top 5 they're not cutting it...right now. Who's to say what they'll have in 3 months. There's definitely potential
