The only good part about this weeks episode was Rudags making an appearance, lol.. I'm guessing that whole "competition" was staged though, right? I mean, I can only imagine it was considering they claimed "no other teams showed up."

Everyone knew that there was only two teams. Emails went out to all teams involved.

Well that really stinks! We do an outside comp but there is an indoor venue close by in case of foul weather. No, I really didn't think the EP would have voluntarily put in a 2 team competition

This makes sense - I can see her wanting her daughter on the show, but she could have found another way (jr coach maybe?). Because if my kids were on one of those teams that lost to them and I saw this show so I knew for sure she had level 5 athletes on her youth 2 team, I might have a few colorful words for her sandbagging ...um..."butt". Show or not, that ish is not ok.

LOL. Unfortunately, I think coaches sandbag all over the country.

Actually yes, some places do. Level5mom and mclovin's kid's use to do one together when they cheered for @Rudag's many moon's ago!!

Not all gyms have enough girls/boys that can do a particular level to make a team out of it. How can a gym (like cp's small gym) have a team with one level 5 athlete (do you restrict her to just solos?). cp is a level 4, but their are simply not enough girls/boys at that level to make a team. What would your solution to that be? Would you insist that I drive a hour (I live in a rural area) for a level 4 team for a 8yr old? She enjoys being at her local gym with her peers/friends/classmates. Do I not let cp advance herself, do I tell her nope it's backhand springs and round offs only?

Checked the results and it looks like they did beat several pairs and several trios.

I competed a duo back in 2007.. Cheer Power usually offers a duo/trio division, as do a few others.
