For whatever reason, the video is no longer working (or it isn't for me, anyway). Maybe they decided to take it down? If someone has a copy, I'd love to see it.

Either way, it sounds horrendously shameful, and I can understand feeling frustrated and upset when you're portrayed in a certain light by someone you think you can trust.

What twitter drama? I'm sorry, I don't follow enough people in the industry to be in the know of twitter stuff.

One of your well known teenagers was very upset about something a mother had done to her last night and was flooding twitter about it for a while. She did not mention a name or a specific incident but you could tell her heart was broken. :(

Ok, people! Time to once again put on our Very Berry Thinking Caps.

1) Big Rich Atlanta is a TV show. It's meant for entertaining the ignorant masses.

2) Reality TV does not equal reality. Say the Reality TV Producer Mantra with me:
"Manufacture drama where there is none by cleverly editing clips together so that the ignorant mass that watches us continues to grow and our show gets picked up for many more seasons to come."

3) If you (MamaMya04) have an issue with something you have heard about your gym or see on a "reality" (term used loosely here) TV show, perhaps you should address it first with your gym before running off to a public forum to trash the organization. That just seems like common courtesy. Especially after you were all smiles and Go Trinity when they won a National title a couple of weekends back. In the words of the immortal Miss Marilyn Monroe, "If you're going to be two-faced, at least make one of them pretty." But that, is a whole separate issue...

4) Has no one picked up that Katie Davidson's daughter cheers at GA Allstars? And doesn't that gym ALSO provide opportunities to disadvantaged youth from the quote ghetto? So she just traded one gym for another that gives free tuition to poor kids. Maybe should found herself in better company over there with others that share some of her ideas... Who knows.

5) I would suggest that everyone watches the Big Rich Atlanta episode in it's 40 minute entirety on Sunday evening before passing judgement. Plus, I smell a HUGE b***h fight coming between Sabrina and Katie. BLAM!!! For that, I'll join the masses and watch.

Now somebody bring in the popcorn!

clearly you don't understand that this is just the icing on the cake. this gym has had so much drama this past season...this tv show is the last straw for people like MamaMya04.

They didn't even show the 30 yr old's sister...or the other old, harsh faced 20 somethings that are on the show. I'm around the same age and I swear if I were aging that rapidly and horribly I would all be "Mirror Mirror on the wall" in every mirror I could find and frantically searching for the fountain of youth. Like no. I couldn't let my face go down like that.

Ugh and the mothers.

I have never seen such a horde of trash as represented by the cast of "Big Rich Atlanta".

I completely agree... I just don't understand why this "certain gym" cannot keep their act straight. It's always one thing after another!

You come across as the most condescending person I've ever seen post. And I'm going to venture a guess that most people on the board can't stand you already.

Regardless if this is manufactured for television, they basically said all the kids in the gym were charity cases and from the ghetto. I'd be pissed if I was spending thousands of dollars a year for my child to be involved, and thanks to the owner now have people under the impression that I'm getting a hand out because the owner wants everyone to think she's Mother Theresa and helping the "poor". And I love how people from Trinity (which you obviously are affiliated with) always bring up GA, like they're responsible for the horrible PR you're seeking out.

Notice the very familair condescending tone that once came from MargaretHuMeans?! Could they be the same person ....???? I think yes!

To go off of what your saying.... MamaMya04 did absolutely nothing wrong by coming to the boards to vent! She didn't say what team, what show, or even what network she was watching. People on the boards put two and two together. When my gym sponsors a kid, no one knows. Only the athlete and the parents, or possibly just the parents depending on the situation. Most of the time I don't even tell the coaches of the team. It is completely wrong that this gym owner is trying to gain publicity by stating she sponsors all of these kids, because I would imagine the kids who are being sponsored don't walk around saying "I can't afford my cheer team, so my gym owner sponsors me." Is it sad that that mother on the show put out there dirty laundry? ABSOLUTELY, but its worse that yet again the gym owner is making terrible decisions regarding her program in letting her program be the center of drama AGAIN.

Why thank you, honey! If I sound condescending to you, it must mean I am above you. Trinity's owner, Cori Davenport, didn't say ghetto. That was Katie's word. But clearly it is ok for people on the F-Bored that Katie is a racist, but it's not ok that Trinity provides scholarships. And I'll let you in on a secret... MANY gyms in the area offer scholarships and financial assistance, but Trinity is the only one getting shade thrown their way over it.

Mother Theresa? Please, that girl could not walk one day in Cori's fantastic designer heels. Ten minutes in the spotlight that Cori and Trinity have had to endure this season and Mother Theresa would have to break her saintly vows and smack a few people.

First off, its F-Board....Also called Fierce Board. And the spotlight you highlight there, well I wouldn't exactly call it a good thing in every aspect.

I just wish Trinity could see that they can be popular in the cheer world by putting out a great routine and impressing us that way. They don't have to continually go out of their way to get attention for their gym. It always just ends up with people disliking them more and them losing customers (the lady who posted this thread is one example).
It's always some big drama or controversy that causes them to be the talk of the town, not incredible stunting, crazy tumbling or fierce dances that most (not all ;) ) other gyms have become popular and talked about by.
I actually think that Trinity D+G's routine is really good this year, however their talent always seems forgotten and overshadowed by an attention seeking situation such as this :(

It isn't working for me now either, but I was literally watching the 10 min clip as you sent this message earlier. Now the 10 minute clip seems to have been replaced with a 30 second preview.
