I think the gym to watch next season is definetly USA Starz.

Finally some recognition! lol. But truly the teams at USA were extremely successful this year. Our small senior two got first at all but one competition, and got 1st at spirit sports against california all stars and a lot of other tough teams. There is a huge future at that gym. Lots of good stuff going on

Not necessarily. If you think about it, they could harbor an international coed - another division they're not in this year- out of the new ontario gym, which would still leave large all girl.

They could start another ic5 a large senior, or venture into level 6's (even though I kind of dont see that happening)

No Mergers with anyone - Not CA/AZ Power, not AZ Power/SCI

According to their facebook announcement, this "Chaos" is not a merger of AZ Power and SCI Pride but is called a "collaboration" between Luis and Kelly.

As has been reported on here earlier, Kelly is preggers so I suspect that means that she is going to give this new "Chaos" team advice and such but I'll bet she's not going to be driving to Tucson to actively coach at least not until after.

I don't think that this is going to change anything for folks in Tucson and is just a bunch of hype for recruiting. It certainly isn't what Luis was telling everyone. If all that is happening with this Chaos is that he is using Kelly's name to prop himself up, its just more of the same crap ..... Eric from Desert Storm is actively coaching at their Tucson gym plus a bunch of the other Scottsdale coaches so I suspect they will win out based on commitment to Tucson.

What we really need in Tucson is some good, high level coaching and, I agree with the earlier comment made by CAPheebersMom, all of the talented kids need to get in one gym so they can have real competitive teams. Most of the coaches here just don't have the skills or temperament for competitive cheer. Firebirds had a Worlds Champion coach that came out from Stingrays but word has it that he got tired of all the parent crap and moved back to Georgia ......too bad for us.

Yes, there is more to it than that but a small group of parents killed his desire and motivation to coach cheer here and after a year off he decided to move back to Stingrays and coach again......

I can't tell you that I'm not sad that CA isn't coming to AZ but it is what it is. My CP is staying on Cali Coed she loves her team and wouldn't have it any other way (even though she's home sick sometimes)

Praying az power has an amazing tryout and can kill it this year and prove they are the deal in AZ. I love them

I think if Cali added an large senior 5 or int coed 5 it would come out of the Livermore location! After them and the other Cali teams winning worlds this year. I see a lot of kids leaving gyms hoping to be apart of a world champion gym. Sad to say this buy yes California as a state can never keep their cheerleaders at one gym. These kids travel to be apart of the best programs.
