Hindsight is 20/20. I didn't get my daughter into tumbling till age of 9. I knew nothing and just relied on the Coach. She knew the basic cartwheels and RO, so she was immediately thrown into learning a BHS. She is now 17 and still doesn't have a nice ROBHS. But she doesn't have a front or back walk over and they were never really taught to her. I think progression is the key to developing anything. And I believe if she was not thrown into the BHS and taught the walk over and taught about using her core muscles she would have progressed past the BHS and had her tuck by now. Slow down people, teach correctly and don't move past something to get to something better. Watching that video people are amazed that someone so little has a ROBHS and all I seen is so many basic movements she needs to work on.

If you click the actual link of the video it was from a few years back. The actual girl is 9 or 10 now and an awesome tumbler!

Yes her name is Morgan! She is a great tumbler now! My kid started watching her vids when my kid was 5 and my girl wanted to be just like her!

In fact a couple years ago there was a thread and all people did was post videos of young kids who could tumble and I posted one of her videos at an older age and people liked it.

If I remember correctly she is related to someone who owns that gym so she spent a lot of time there. When she was 3 I bet they didn't think she would get her BHS or that it would affect her any way in the future.
