Nope with havent. My mother would have never paid for allstar. My plan is to inherit someone daughter in the next few years so she can cheer, unless someone wants to teach my morkie to tumble. :)

The patience you have to entertain this.
yes i am a fan of f5, but im not a judge and if the judges decided/scored to where SE beat out F5 and the others, then who am i to have a heart attack about it, it is what it is. but yes again their were people who said they thought f5 was going to win, or that they deserved it after day two regardless of mistakes. ugh regardless im over it, im just trying to patiently wait for the comp season to begin...... :enjoyshow:

i mean come on, EVERYBODY like a little rivalry in their sports, whether its football, basketball, or cheerleading... thats what makes it more fun to watch.

Im an f5 fan too, Ive been agreeing with you. I just would have quit entertaining that post along time ago.

Does anyone have a video of the team with the mean girls themed routine? I think it was Sanford Wrath.

I know it was mentioned before but you can really see it in this vimeo HD version.

Cheer Extreme All-Stars Senior Elite

After the little flyer in the front takes a tumble from the assisted kick double thingy at 2:54 she appears really shaken up. It was so sweet seeing the older girls help her push through to the pyramid, especially Molly! Such great leadership.

So looking at the business potential of doing live streams.... if people are posting HD quality videos of the teams people want to see for free 2 minutes after they do it live what is the motivation to purchase a live stream account?

I have and understand the ability to do a live stream but I can't see how well someone can make money if everyone gets what they want for free right after it's done.

I actually really love good live streams. I've purchased them for all major events that I couldn't be present for since my former CP wasn't in any of the age/skill divisions that would attend those comps. I prefer the ability to have immediate access. HD videos can be edited (doesn't happen as often, but can), sometimes people don't get both days at 2 day comps, some teams people actually do care about aren't taped (this I see most often), especially lower level teams or teams not from a powerhouse gym, I'm impatient and don't really wanna wait and see if someone uploads something only to find out they didn't, sometimes videos get taken down from YouTube whereas some of the live streams you can go back and watch VOD over and over, and many time the "HD" quality isn't really so HD on my computer or phone (or maybe that's bc I'm partially blind). And this is coming from someone whose channel gets a ton of hits and compliments bc of the HD videos my hubby would take when my CP used to compete. :)
Then there's always that ONE person who was like, "Did you get so and so????!!!" and so on.

So you are saying the 'guarantee' of seeing a team is worth a lot and the perishable-ness of seeing it live as opposed to a recording is kinda worth it?

:D:D:D Lol! Your post just made my day (sweet - it's only 7:10am and I'm already all set for the day!)

I grew up in a generation where we couldn't turn in something for MATH class if it had a grammar error, let alone English class. It's been drilled into me from a very young age. I guess grammar isn't something that's taught in schools anymore; it's a dying art, like calligraphy. :D

Sn: in honor of msteal's birthday I'll say something nice: I think SE really is tops when it comes to creativity. I do actually really like watching their stunts and pyramids every year. :)

I've almost given up hope after seeing numerous grammatical errors from one of my college English professors.

Yes, to me anyway (and I'm a grown adult who hasn't been around allstar nearly as long as most of these people)! There are also some instances I've seen where a parent who can't be at their child's competition would love to see their routine, but can't because no one records it. I know if that had ever been the case for me $10-15 bucks would have been worth it (and not to mention the price is actually cheaper than to attend the actual competition as a parent, lol!)

That's actually a really good point I think.

Do you prefer a one time purchase of that day over a subscription?

And I've paid for crappy cheerlive in the past..I would LOVE an HD live stream. Also, it's a big fat pain (not to mention time sucker) to have to look for the videos. I literally sifted through countless ones from this past weekend just to find a few good ones after a couple of days. It took at least two days for me to see a really good quality one (from my point of view).
