My friend is trying to get some information on some good athletic training schools.. Anyone with some good info?
She's really interested in UGA and Eastern Kentucky, but also looking at FGCU and North Florida. Ideally she wants to be an athletic trainer in the NFL.

Also is there anyone on the boards that attend FSU, LSU or Michigan? Or a major in sports management or minor in marketing?

I went to Michigan and loved it. If you're interested in marketing, join the solar car team - amaaaaaaazing experience (they're in Australia right now for WSC!)
And fabulous on your résumé - it is a multi-million dollar project run entirely by students.

Contrary to popular belief you can actually be a student at ECU and not a partier! Believe it or not I am fully involved in going to football games and in my sorority and I still have yet to get drunk/wasted/high whatever you like to call using illegal substances underage after being here for 2 months. If you get in with the right crowd it's not a big party school. Which is probably true for any school across the country!

So if you like a school that has a party school rep... don't worry
I'm literally the same way. With me trying to get into nursing school at one of the best nursing schools in the nation (texas woman's university) I don't have time to even breathe let alone party or drink. Crazy to me that kids drink every night and miss class and throw their parents money out the window.

I hate those kids that do that and they post on Facebook, Instagram and twitter about how they are drinking/getting drunk/got so wasted. That doesn't make you cool. Enjoy your freshman 15 from all your partying.

That's what I'm saying!!! I'm sorry I'm over here trying to get my degree trying to get OUT of college, and those that stay in college for 3+ years than they should've been because of partying and irresponsibility, always want to go back to college....like no.

I completely agree. I went to WVU, the number 1 party school in the country for what like 10+ years now, and I am far from a partier. A lot of people do go to that school just because of it's party school reputation, but if you find the right people like I did, it can be an amazing experience without getting drunk every single night of the week.

I honestly didn't realize how much of a party school mine is until I got here. You never hear about it being a party school but it really is!

that started as an ECU thing over the Spring/Summer and now everyone says it :(

ETA: I blame I'm Shmacked because as soon as they came here they started tweeting that and now everyone says it

its the motto to live by ; ) if you work hard, then you can play hard as well!

University of New Mexico has an outstanding program. I was 2 semesters away from graduating when I had to drop out of it :(

Does anyone have any experience with or know anything about these universities? What is it like to live there? I'm looking to do a masters in publishing and these are the only places I've found that offer it so far...

Emerson College, DePaul University, New York University, University of Houston-Victoria, Portland State, Minnesota State Moorhead, Drexel University, Pace University.

On the same tack as @embersglow I'm looking at spending a year in the states but the only place I can go as part of my degree course is university of washington. Anyone go there/have any experience of it?
