If you talked to her at the clinic and she saw your skills and knew you wanted to try out, she probably already knows whether or not she wants to take you, to be honest. Send in the video, but don't stress too much :) They might have tryouts again in the fall for basketball season.

With the amount of people who come every year, CA would be stupid not to charge admission. Besides, maybe this will deter some people and parents will actually get to see their kids.

Not without paying $20 (more if their brothers and sisters come) to see a sport they already pay through the roof for. Just seems like a little bit of a slap in the face.

I agree, it's completely within CA's interests as a business - they would be stupid not to from a business point of view but from the family point of view I feel its a little ridiculous. Its great that CA is rolling in dosh, but what about 12 year old Susie on Panthers whose family can't afford to come because it would cost $100. Everyone else's are there but not hers. I have no doubt that this must happen to some athlete. Cheer is an expensive sport!

(I know my view on it is a bit over emotional or whatever)

My parents (and all spectators except students at my school) had to pay to get into every single one of mine and my brother's high school hockey games throughout high school. Granted it was usually $7 or $8 per game but still - its a good way to fundraise!

will miss jenee on smoed :( but I'm sure a lot of thought went into the decision and she's been very mature about it. A result of good parenting? ;) @lakerfantlc
She posted about senior photos the other day.... Is she graduating early? I could've sworn she was younger than me when the smoed show introduced her.

It's her senior year so who knows.. I saw the tweet after I posted this. Sad to see her go but happy she handled it in a mature fashion much unheard of with kids her age (such as my brother)

I believe this season is actually her junior year, but I could be mistaken. She doesn't age out regardless of what year she is in school.
