I forget her name but it was so cute! They interviewed the team after awards and the interviewer asked "what's the strongest thing about your team" and the team spokesman went blank for a second then turned around pointed to her (standing right behind her) and said "insert coed stunter girl name here" the whole arena was like I KNOW, RIGHT!

That's was a perfect answer! It totally made me laugh!

Stars look great but they definitely do have a nervous feel about them when performing IMO. When they hit those double ups there is always a second where everybody looks like "please, please stay up" before we get the big smiles. I feel like it's the same with the scales. I just want to see them all really hit confidently. If they do I think they'll have the best routine in Large Senior.

My two observations from this team...
This team looks more like Lady Bullets than Lady Bullets do. Like if you ignored the tumbling difficulty here, I'd be almost convinced I was watching Lady Bullets.
Secondly... Most of those fulls are what happens when you don't coach a proper layout. When you accept a level 4 kid doing an arch back, pike over as a layout, and then try and make them into level 5, you get these fulls that the athlete arches into and then completes 100% with their toes/ankles, and it's not cute, nor is it conducive to an athlete ever usually advancing past a full.

I find this more impressive that any pass I have ever seen here do lol Like I would prefer this to a double whip double whip double any day.

Sidenote from these videos: I had some fan girl moments this weekend. I saw the 2 dads from the Twinkles documentary multiple times this weekend (who I don't think are at WC anymore?). Regardless, it took everything not to hug them and ask for a picture.
