purple was the team that was nicknamed stingray fallstars..
but now it makes a little more sense knowing they threw complete strangers from separate gyms into one team! that musta been tough!

Fallstars? Yikes! Are there any videos of them? I'm sure that couldn't have been terrible with athletes coming from such good programs.

It definitely felt like I watching Georgia in a Rays uniform. Very GA style. Wish they could have hit, thats a great routine, especially for back then!

I mean they did end up getting 3rd at worlds, so they turned it around after that. I'm still obsessed with that routine/music.

Nope, I'm positive she did bc her fellow teammates in middle school were all invited to join Greensboro All stars. A reliable source of mine (who I will not name due to privacy) who did allstar for GAS said that she was not invited like the other several girls/teammates. Now perhaps she wasn't interested in joining Allstar at the time anyway, but 2-3 yes later she started cheer extreme.

I've watched that specific part of the video several times to make sure I was hearing correctly/accurately- and it's exactly why I posted the first comment about it, bc I was literally taken aback as to why it wasn't acknowledged properly. I'm fairly certain CSP has seen that video, so I wonder why she wouldn't want to edit/correct that part.

ETA- I went to school w/her, we're both the same age and we graduated the same year. So it's not like I'm pulling the info from speculation and/or gossip.

They closed for the 08-09 season I thought (GA Large Coed's 2008 Worlds mix started with "And now, for our farewell performance!"). They were back open for the 09-10 season, and still are.

Nope one year earlier, 07 was the farewell performance, they closed for the 07-08 season and reopened in 08-09.

There was a sharp decrease in Unlimited Coed teams that lead to the creation of Semi (with a capped number of males). Georgia won it in 2010 and ACE in 2011. Semi was eliminated in 2012 with the introduction of Medium Coed and the reintroduction of Large Coed. (and the elimination of Large Limited)

They changed all of the senior coed divisions in the 2011-2012 season. Small coed is the same as small limited was, medium coed is kinda sort of like a mix halfway between large limited and semi-limited, and they also got rid of the "unlimited" coed and that is now large coed with a limit on the number of boys. That was also the year they added the medium all girl 5 division. There are days where I miss the old coed divisions.
