I was so close to not going to class today. He's posted the notes online and it's my only class today, but he takes role so I went anyway. I drove 35 minutes across town to see a note on the door that says class is canceled. Why can't professors send emails when class is canceled?

LITERALLY SAME. I got my econ test back today and I got a 48/100- with a 15 point curve. Surprisingly, it wasn't the lowest in the class and it wasn't my lowest test grade hahahahaha. Econ is SO not my thing. Good luck on your test tomorrow!!

I actually want to throw up right now, this is DISGUSTING. To think that people are being deterred from cheer because of this.

Edit: Their motions are off, I just had to get that out haha. Skip to 8:34 for the worst part. And why does the fact that Chyna made the team mean that she and Olive have to stop being friends? :banghead:

Disney shows with cheerleading tryouts are the worst!! There's an episode of Hannah Montana that makes me cringe. Also, Lizzie Mcguire made all the mean girls cheerleaders, and used them as props when Lizzie was tutoring Ethan in math (yes, I remember this stuff).

Haha, I'm DECENT at econ. I did really well in macro, but micro is so hard for me!! I have no clue why I'm struggling so much. But this test just had way too much info and material on it to be completed within 50 minutes. Like I spent so much time trying to do the math for one section that I had to just circle a bunch of answers on one page because I had no time! This class is just not clicking for me, haha. So hopefully I didn't do too terrible because I've got a solid C in the class.

Random post for a random thread :

I moved cities this year for university and at home I've never had a specific hurdles coach because my club doesn't have one, me and my best friend just kinda taught ourselves how to hurdle and then did it. I've always been pretty good at hurdles but never thaaaat good but I felt like I could always do more and it got me down a bit after practices (usually because my best friend was always better than me and it was kinda annoying )

Anyway, this year because I've had a coach who works with me 4 times a week I leave training actually happy with what I've done and (in my opinion) I've become SO much better. I feel now how I've wanted to feel for years with hurdles, I just never had anyone to help me before and I obviously needed it!

First comp of the season is on sunday and I think this is one of the first times I've been genuinely excited to compete
