Congrats @CaliChar , hope everything went smoothly and is well. So great to hear!

To avoid a double post - has anyone seen Hemlock Grove on Netflix? I can't get into it but am looking for hope that it gets better. Does it? I'm only on the third episode. But I am thoroughly disturbed about one of the main characters turning into a werewolf. What the actual heck are you kidding me that was disgusting holy crap I'm gonna barf. This whole show just seems really disturbing.

Good for you :cheering:

I loved it. It's hard to follow sometimes but once you get into it it's good. I wish there were more episodes now.

This was seriously the worst overnight shift ever.
First, a resident was left unattended on evening shift and fell onto bare concrete and was NOT SENT OUT. I was instructed to not call 911, but my gut said it was a more immediate problem (the last time a supervisor told me something was not an emergency, I had a strong gut feeling and called 911 anyways and the patient turned out to be in septic shock). She complained of hip pain all night long before I finally put my foot down and called 911. While this resident was being strapped to the gurney, etc, an alert went off for another resident. I went to check on her and found her on the floor. She said she had fallen and nothing hurt, so I transferred her to her wheelchair, toileted her, and put her back in bed. She was really upset after her fall, so I put some lotion on her arms because she really likes that. While I was putting lotion on, she made a motion like she was in pain. I flipped her arm over to look, and there was a big blue bulge in her blood vessel that was about the size of a golf ball. I called 911 immediately, and by the time they got there, it had like doubled in size. This poor little lady just burst into tears, she's always worried that she's inconveniencing us, and she was just so scared.

Plus pretty much all the other residents were up and down all night long, and several were physically aggressive. Our boss is awful, so I know she's going to blame all of this on me and the one other girl that was working. So now I'm in one hospital with the lady with the hip, and my coworker is in the other hospital.

AND I have to go to my moms baby shower until 2 and then go back to work. D:

I'm so annoyed. I live with my best friend and two random people. They're a few years older than us, but still in school.

They leave their dishes on the counter, RIGHT next to the sink for like days, usually until my roommate and I eventually take care of them. THEN they leave their takeout boxes just sitting at the table when they're done and don't throw them away. Annnnddd they never ever take out the trash. Like why??? Why do they do these things???? It's not even like these are awful, daunting tasks, they're everyday things!!!

Idk I'm just annoyed :( hopefully our roommate agreement with our RA will make this a little better.

I just got back from tryouts an hour ago and I can't stop refreshing my email... Ugh this wait is awful. At least I won't be waiting all night, since the first team practice is tonight at 7 so obviously we have to know before then.

Sounds like my roommate! She spills or drops food and leaves it for days, I'm always the one cleaning up. And I have a few favourite towels I keep in my room even though we have a closet full, she used every other towel we own and they're sitting in a heap on the bathroom floor. We literally have no clean towels except for my favourite ones and she hasn't even made a move to do laundry!

Ugh that's awful. The worst part is that these things are common sense!! Like, I can't think of one good reason why you wouldn't put the dishes away, wipe the counter after you cook, or do your laundry! These are just such simple tasks, it doesn't make sense!!

She also doesn't turn out lights or close cupboards. So I pretty much follow her around all day cleaning up!

Has anyone ever used Adobe Audition to make cheer music before? I just bought the Adobe Creative Cloud and that came with it, so I was hoping to learn how to make a decent cheer mix by the time my coach needed one if we decide to do a half time performance again. If anyone has used it, do you have any tips?
