I think if you haven't read Harry Potter yet and try to read it as an adult, it won't be good. The appeal (at least for me) is that I "grew up" with the series. Same with the lion king, I feel like it would be silly if you're seeing it for the first time as an adult!

I jut found out that my best friend of 10 years has never seen a single Harry Potter movie. She's coming over to my house to pass out candy on Friday, so I've decided not to let her leave until we've seen every single one of the movies. I just don't understand how someone goes through almost 18 years of life never having seen one! I mean, I grew up on those movies!

Never seen one second of them. Or read a book. But yet I still understand about 75% of the jokes/movies because of Social Media..

Double post but i'm too shocked at the fact that you've never seen Finding Nemo!? Do you not attend public school? I couldn't get through a year of school without sitting through that movie in at least three different classes! (Including the French version in my middle and high school french classes)

So just a week after the shooting at MPHS...
threats were made to my school. back of school graffitied. rumors of gangs.
all of these threats have been reported and theres an investigation going on, yet we still have school tomorrow. we're going to have tons of police there tomorrow, but i'm still so scared. the current "rumor" (which could be 100% false) is some guy upset a kid from another school whos apart of a gang and they were planning a shooting at our school, during 2nd lunch (which i have.. at a table right next to mine).

Why do these threats even exist? ugh... not sure if its a good idea to go tomorrow..

Are you a high school student? If so, I would talk to your Mom about possibly missing. Kids tends to act out more at school on Halloween as it is. The fact that it is Halloween Day will add to any tensions that already exist.

A couple years ago, there was a false shooting threat made at my school. I'm not sure what exactly happened on how a rumor twisted into that, but it happened. That so called day, there was extra security on campus and we were given an excused absense if we missed that day. I would stay home just in case. On the supposed shooting day, I was sick anyways so I was staying home either way.

Yep. Sophmore. Theres a police investigation going on and they said if they find anything they will cancel school. My parents are letting me make the call, but it is the end of the quarter and i have very low grades and i wish i could go in and drop off a few assignments and leave
