Funny, my nephew works for BB, too! lol But the Black Friday deal is WAY better than the deal an employee can get on them. I've already checked. :)

Oh no. I meant that at her store they let employees set aside a few of the Black Friday deals (but not any of the big big big ticket items), since they're working and obviously can't Black Friday shop. I personally don't do the mess of BF (not at a store like BB at least) so I'm having her set aside an iPad for me. The BB employee discount isn't anything compared to the Black Friday deals.

I'm asking for a wireless Bluetooth speaker for my birthday/Christmas. Anyone have any recommendations? I got a small iHome last birthday but it always had a static-y sound, died after only 1 hour, or the connection would go in and out if my phone wasn't sitting on top or right next to it.

let's see. there was a pair of frye booties i've been staring at since August that i planned on asking for, for christmas and they conveniently just went on sale at nordstrom so i let my mom know :)

my past birthday i asked my aunt to start my Le Creuset collection (i know that's normally a wedding registry gift, but i have no boyfriend let alone marriage anywhere in my future and i love to cook now.) so whenever we started i told her the color i liked and a handful of pieces i wanted and each holiday she's added to it. so i want a roaster and/or braiser this time.

my grandma is willing to spend a lot but she likes to give you a lot of things versus one big thing so i asked her for a bunch of school things. next semester is our most expensive because we start diagnosing so i need lots of fancy tools so i made up a wish list of them and my mom said she would order them all for my grandma.

i have a list a mile long at barnes and noble, so either the books on my list or gift cards would be great

and a thing or two from lululemon.

i feel like i'm boring this year but everything i want is a bit pricey. i'd also just love money for rent and my car payment but my family is one of those anti-money/giftcard families because they think it's "impersonal." (which it isn't when someone needs it lol but i very much appreciate the things they get me that i don't have to buy so i can pay rent lol)

The Amazon speaker was a Daily Deal last week. I was interested and read the, mostly all good, reviews.

I'm going to Disney World in January, well to run the half/full marathon, I'm not actually going to any parks because I have school the days before and after:(. So flight/hotel is my main Christmas present.

I also asked for the Naked 1 Palette, a new phone, some gift cards, and a lot of running/school clothes (which are the same thing lol)

I'm asking for a nice winter hat and stuff with my sorority letters on it from my parents. Maybe some crafting supplies and sweaters.

From everyone else, all I want are donations to go toward my university's Dance Marathon for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. I want nothing more than to surpass my fundraising goal of $250. I'm a Riley kid and this cause is so important to me! (If you don't know what Dance Marathon is, here's the link to my fundraising page so you can read about Riley, Dance Marathon, my Riley story, and where our money specifically goes. You can donate too if you want!)

'Tis the season for giving!

Lil bear's bff is having her bday party at The American Girl store in NYC on the Sunday before Christmas...yes, the store that is two blocks away from the Rockefeller Center and the massive tree that like a million people go visit each day during the holidays- lol! As fun as the party sounds, it is going to be quite the fustercluck getting into and around the city that day.

And the selfish side of me is saying that I really don't want cp to see the store right before the holiday for fear of last minute Santa list additions.

do you have an AG catalog she could look through now-ish to see if she wants to ask Santa for anything? while the presentation in the store is much cuter, they normally don't have anything not in the catalog in store.

and i am 24 and jealous of that birthday party! what a cool idea! (if it weren't the week before christmas, it will be chaos in the store that weekend)

My gift plans this year:
Mom- I get her a pair of VS flannel pjs every year, but I might do something along with that this year... Maybe some slippers or something?

Dad- A six month subscription to a "mystery" tackle box, where they send you random bait and stuff once a month. I'm hoping he can use it as an excuse to fish more in the warmer months because he loves it and never gets to.

Twin brother- a gift card. Most likely for food. You can't please teenage boys with anything but.

14 y/o sister- she got a canopy bed for her birthday, so I'm planning on hanging twinkle lights and tulle fabric across the top one day while she's not home, like those rooms on tumblr ([emoji6]). I think it'd be beautiful with her teal and white room. Any advice on that is welcomed. However, I need to do something else for her bc that doesn't feel like enough comparatively...

9 y/o sister- (my favorite but I'd never tell any of them that, lol) obviously she's asking for 1.2 million bows, a full spring floor in her room, an iPhone 6+, and to be on CA Wildcats. (No but realistically she's probably getting some beats solos if mom can find them on Black Friday, American girl stuff for her doll, a stunt stand- apparently they were advertising at MTTD and she discovered them- a few bows and sports bra/shorts sets, and maybe some pink Uggs. They still go all out for her because she's the youngest and their last kid to believe in Santa.) But I can't decide what to get her at all.

Grandparents: I'll probably build a pretty collage of family pictures for their living room or something. They'd much rather that than something I bought anyway.

Also any full time coaches/gym owners care to share what they'd like from their employees?

Ok I've bugged yall enough. Guess I'll go ahead and add mine.

I'm asking for a new bedroom suit from my grandmother. That will probably be a joint Christmas/birthday thing coming sometime in the middle. (my birthday is in Feb) I've been out of college for a while now it's time for me to get big girl furniture. My mismatching hand me down stuff looks ragged.

Rent money, duh.
Ray Bans
K Cups
Tervis tumblers/lids/straws
memory foam mattress topper
gift cards (Belk, Ulta, Trader Joes, NY & Co, Loft, anywhere really!)
And a diploma frame because I graduated a year and a half ago and that expensive a$$ piece of paper is still sitting in the package it came in in my closet back home.

My boyfriend is impossible to shop for :p his birthday is on the 24th and he'll be turning 21 but since I'm 19 I can't really go and buy him alcohol (which he doesn't want anyway) and besides, he's not a big drinker anyway. He just got a new phone and refuses to put a case on it so that's out, he won't let me buy him clothes and he only wears work out clothes 24/7 anyway. And everything he wants, he just goes and buys himself :/ any ideas for a 21 year old guy who doesn't play a sport and is super picky?!
Double posting, sorry. But my 20 y/o boyfriend is literally the exact same way. Buys himself what he wants, only wears workout clothes, and isn't into sports. Also, every time I complain about how hard it is to buy him something, he just says he'll love whatever I get him. Like, thanks for your help. This will make our third Christmas together. First christmas- Apple TV and some cologne (I really don't think he uses the Apple TV; he won't admit it but it's not as great as it's hyped to be) Second christmas- I got him a Mophie since his phone stays dead 24/7, an Under Armour hoodie, and an iPod since he had thousands of songs on iTunes but switched from an iPhone to a Samsung galaxy around that time. (I splurged a bit but got it all on Black Friday online.) This christmas- we both like hand made gifts, so on top of whatever I get him I'll make something too. He's been learning how to play the piano for about a year, so I'm thinking of compiling the sheet music to a bunch of songs that we like, or that bring back memories, mean something, whatever, and making a book for him to play out of. (That might be super cheesy, but I was proud of it!) For something to buy, I'm getting him some waterproof notebooks and pens because I think he'd think they were cool (they are cool!), and he's a geeky physics major who is always doing lab reports and such. I need to think of something else, but idk yet.

For other occasions, I've gotten him a lifeproof for his iPad, and a monthly charcuterie (cured meat; not to be confused with caricature like I originally wrote) subscription box because he loves trying new things, especially food. He really liked it, and I did too because we could both be surprised together. You almost can't go wrong with those monthly subscription boxes. I've also gotten him some Polo shirts, this oven thing, (idrk how to describe it) Amazon.com: Presto 03430 Pizzazz Plus Rotating Oven: Kitchen & Dining
He's really into weird appliances/gadgets. He got me a gelato maker once. I can't think of anything else ATM but will edit if I do.
I hope this was helpful somehow! Lol

Oh wow!!! Can I get in on that deal?? lol My nephew's manager must not be as nice. He said if they get caught trying to hold BF items they will be terminated.

The manager of the store is so one of my cousins (my moms first cousins son) but that's not why he does it! He's just nice....Black Friday at their store is fun (for the circumstance) he has meals brought in for them every X amount of hours.

But like I said they don't get to set aside BIG ticket albums (like if the store gets 10 $xxx TVs then employees don't get to touch them ) but last year she was able to set aside Beats for someone and the year before a Kindle Fire. The items also have to be purchased on break before the BF deals end

Once the BF madness is over she also always calls and says "hey we have ______ left, do you want to come get one".

Basically I'm grateful that she kept her PT job just for Black Friday
