I don't know. Stay to play is a negative, but it doesn't rise to call-for-a-boycott level, IMO.

I hope it never happens but I guess it really would take parents not paying the gyms for the stay to play becoming a bigger faction.

As a CA parent that lives out of state I can share that the gym does a remarkable job communicating IMHO. For my son's team they rely heavily on the team mom who communicates through text, Facebook and GroupMe messages. They also have regular CAP (Coach, Athlete, Parent) meetings to keep everyone on the same page. I've never been to one, but they communicate the content via the other methods afterwards. It's interesting that I feel better informed of information regarding events 1000 miles away than I was with my local gym sometimes.

That sounds so convenient. At my gym, all we have is emails from the owner and it doesn't really give a lot of detail on the info and we have team parents but I don't think they do anything.

That chicken fry hashtag wasn't promotional to them specifically. That was a nation-wide promotional hashtag from BK that they wanted as many people as possible to do and plaster all over social media. It was advertised on a poster in my local BK and we have no large gyms in my area. Just for what it's worth.

We honestly have no specific plans for our next gym. Assuming everything continues to go as well as it has, I'm sure we will open another within a couple of years, but we have not narrowed down the location.
