If only 1.5 were an actual level.

I'm always surprised that ya'll don't bump them up to a Youth 1 and go for a Summit bid. They would kick some serious butt! PCM did that with their "youth" 1 (all mini aged) two years ago and they made it to finals.

I remember this! But we don't throw our youth in the ring for bids so I'm not surprised they don't bump them to a youth1. Would love to do an exhibition one time with those carats!

Thank goodness for NCA to distract me from my excitement about Pacwest. It is truly one of my favourite competitions. Plus there are amazing donuts and burgers close by! Only a few 5 more days!

UGH no i am NOT ready for this weekend.
Anyone staying at the Doubletree?

Excited to be headed to PacWest for the first time. Any insider tips from those who have been there before?

Usually the Convention Center has more than one event going on so it'll be crazy! Buy your wristbands the night before if possible. Parking can by crazy, take the rapid transit. Have fun! Oh, and you have to stop at Voodoo Donuts!

Excited to see you folks perform this weekend - we've never seen you before! Good luck!

Parking can be hard. Learn about the MAX system. The convention center is HUGE so don't expect to show up right on time and make it to your meet time. Last year the workers at the entrance to the venue loved doing their job and made sure everyone going in had a ticket or a shoe tag so make sure you've got your shoe tag before trying to grab seats.

We always park in the garage and are fine. I think there is a big dance competition there again. Definitely go Friday night to buy your wristband.

PacWest will be in Halls B & C this year (opposite end from last year), and there is only one other event going on in halls D &E. At least this is what the convention calender is stating.

@UpsideDownGirlsMom Voodoo Donuts is a must... Just be prepared for a line to get a donut. Must admit I was shocked having to wait in line for over 30 minutes last year, and it was 11:30pm , and my CP still reminds me she was standing in line in Nike Pro's waiting for a donut.
If you want to go shopping after you preform Lloyd Center is very close by. Also if you want a burger, BurgerVille has very good burgers and shakes and is just down the street from the convention center.

The subway by the convention center has run out of bread the last two years.

There are multiple Starbucks in waking distance. I think I hit every single one of them last year.
