is the feed worth it in terms of quality? i kind of miraculously have almost the whole weekend off and it's dumping buckets of rain in southern california, so it would be fun to camp out with the feed and some coffee all weekend, but i don't want to spend $30 if i won't get to see the...
land of lola from kinky boots! my jaw actually dropped.
one of my favorite cheer teams performing to music from one of my favorite broadway shows isn't a thing i ever actually thought i'd get to see
i agree with you about fan fiction that uses real people. it's just gross and it shouldn't be happening, especially with these things that are popping up on instagram.
but as far as the rest of what you said, i think a lot of the appeal of fan fiction is working with characters you already...
good fan fiction is nothing like fifty shades. unfortunately, it's somehow become representative of fan fiction when it really isn't a good example at all. please don't judge an entire group of writers (many of whom are quite talented) because of e.l. james.
there are a lot of one direction fics out there--and they're about as well-written as these cheerlebrity ones. i don't know who thought writing fan fiction about real people was appropriate, but it needs to stop. these aren't characters that you can play around with. these are real people with...
someone i follow on tumblr mentioned these and i thought it had to be a joke. i've heard of rpf (real person fiction) before (mostly one direction fics), but it never occurred to me that people would be writing fics about cheerlebrities. i made a post about it on my tumblr, and then someone...
I really think it's connected to how much reading people do. I couldn't tell you how to diagram a sentence, but because I've been reading like crazy since I was a little kid, I know how words are supposed to go together and where punctuation fits. My brothers don't read as much as I do, but they...
so i just checked my email and the travel-size urban decay setting spray is actually on sale for $7 right now on hautelook! just letting ya'll know since it seems like it's a favorite and this is so much cheaper than it usually runs :) they also have some palettes and shadow singles...
i've heard AMAZING things about NYX, and their stuff is so cheap! also a tip for anyone looking to buy NYX who isn't near an Ulta--i work at PacSun and we actually sell NYX products there :)
yeah definitely! they'd probably actually be really good because once they set they're not going anywhere, so you definitely wouldn't have to worry about smudging :) they're a really similar consistency to my favorite gel liner (which smashbox discontinued ). i'd probaby try mine that way...
the maybelline color tattoo line also has a gorgeous teal color that would probably work really well to layer under your other teal shadow. they're cream shadows, about $6 at target, and they don't go ANYWHERE. i just got a new one and swatched it on my hand last night. i've washed my hand...
this made me smile so hard. i know that she's going to appreciate it probably more than she'll ever be able to tell you. honestly parents like you on the boards who never had any interest in cheer prior to their kids getting involved inspire me so much because you guys have made the effort to...
ahhh yay thank you Sophie for starting this thread! it's defs my new favorite :shimmy: (i just had to use the shimmy. don't worry about it)
i held back a ton with my confessions in the other thread because i didn't want to go too crazy since i know it was more for allstar, but now that i have...
okay, sorry for the double post, but should we maybe make a confessions thread in the high school section of the boards? i know i could go on all day with the sideline cheer confessions, but we probably shouldn't hijack this thread any more than we already have since it's in the allstar section :)
ugh, that's awful :( that happened to us once at an away game--we went over to give a gift to their cheerleaders and their crowd was booing us, chucking stuff at us, and flipping us off. i can't imagine having that be your own crowd.
