If they have solid quality lay outs they should have fulls by choreography. If that is the only skill they are missing that is their deadline in order to be on 5 without it they can train as alternates. Put the 4-5 in one stunt group that way if they do not get it it will only effect one stunt...
The progression of the straight right is so important to the development for later skills. It is important to require athletes to do this at the lower levels. If you add other skills in at this level this very very important progression will be lost in order to max out on the score sheet...
makes perfect sense ...the biomechanics of men and women are different. Women are stronger in the lower portion and need to rely on this for strong stunting. Men can muscle it through arms and shoulders.

If gymnastics can get insured so can cheerleading . . . btw why not require all athletes to have insurance. Has anyone heard of a cheerleader who got injured at a competition suing an event producer?
I saw this and thought it was ridiculous! I have never seen or had a flyer fall from that height without someone catching her or at least breaking the fall. This example is highly unrealistic where as a football player being hit happens every play.
