    Tips For Jumps

    I have bad jumps but I have been working on them for a long time. And I wanted to know if any one had tips for getting better jumps. When I do my jumps my chest is straight up and I do not lean over. When I prep I swing really hard to get a good height. But it does not help too much

    I've been trying to get my toetouch higher for a while now they dont seem to have any improvement. They are level but i want them hyperextended. Does anyone have any tips to help me out?

    What are some ways to get your jumps hyperextended? It seems like no matter how much I stretch middle splits, getting them to be more than parallel is impossible :/

    Jumps!

    I was practicing my jumps today and I noticed one leg is lower than the other. I decided to post if anyone knew good ways to improve my jumps and fix my problem. My left leg is lower on my toe touch and my jumps are decent. Happy Jumping! :)

    My cp is 8 years old, and she's a pretty good tumbler. The thing she really needs to work on is her jumps. What should we focus on when helping her with this? Flexibility? Strength? Both? and what kinds of drills have helped you? Thanks!

    Jumps To Tuck

    My CP has asked me to ask all of you for tips on consistently landing her jumps to a tuck. She lands in practice, but in the routine is not landing as consistently. She says she is tired when she does them and throws herself back. Does anyone have any tips for her? Thanks so much!

    Prob should go in the pet peeve section but it bugs me when a point jumper has amazingly hyper flexed jump..put they are always a count off from the rest of the squad.
