I think Laurie is at Gym Max, which is where Laney trains as well. I could be totally off, but I feel like that is what I pieced together awhile back.

I actually thought gym max for a hot second but couldn’t figure out why I thought that...so I’ll go with it. Haha

Yup, she's at Gym Max. Kyla trained there too.

You are correct, Laurie is training at Gym-Max with Kyla Ross's old coaches! This article says she's been there since October 2018.

Laurie Hernandez: My focus is next year OlympicTalk

I obviously wish her the best but the field is sooooo thick with talent right now that I don't see how she'll have a chance with only a year or two of training and a few months of competitions. Last year she said she wanted to try to make Worlds 2019 but has pushed back her return date to early 2020.

I think Morgan not throwing her full difficulty is what's keeping her low in the rankings. She must be pacing herself to throw full difficulty (or at least, more than now) at Nationals in hopes for Worlds.

And agreed about Laurie. I want so bad for her to make a comeback but the time is not on her side right now.

The US Gymnastics Youtube channel is everything I wish the USASF Youtube would be.

She looked really hesitant to do it during that podium training. I wonder if/when she's going to compete it. Probably sooner than Tokyo?

Probable. I mean, you don't wanna compete something new at the olympics only to mess it up...

I would have questioned her status as a human if she wasn’t hesitant, it’s such a difficult skill.

She performed it last night and it looked so much better than what she did in PT. I wonder whether F.I.G. will rate it the same value as what U.S. judges have rated it. We have not seen a skill rated above a G on BB before, so this would be a first.

I don’t even know how she can wrap her head around that triple double. How do you even begin to 1) understand those rotations, and 2) apply them to yourself? Can someone put a GoPro camera on her so us mere mortals can at least catch a glimpse of what that’s like?

I had to rewind it (and her vaults!) a couple times because I was just so blown away with it that I needed to re-see it to digest and fully appreciate it.

Simone in slow motion looks like everyone else real time. I'm not sure if she will ever be able to control her landings because of the power she gets but she is spectacular to watch. I think if she played around on high bar, rings and pommel horse for a month she could take the title in the men's division too.

Jordan Chiles has always been my favorite wildcard and I have no idea where the next year will take her, but wow, switching to WCC has done wonders for her.
