you must be new.

We would actually be thrilled to find flaws in our routines/system - especially if they are as relatively easy to fix as "ur stunts are shaky". That would something to fix and use to further increase our scores. The worst scenario is to have flaws that you aren't aware of and aren't even trying to fix.

We welcome constructive criticism.

You are always so professional - I really admire that.

Don't want to give specific numbers + people are still coming in for late tryouts. Let's just say that we have been searching left and right for new cat names & at least 20% increase over last year.

.

I'm sure the board could come up with plenty of suggestions ;)

I haven't been involved in the planning of the trip for us. I know that they were making an effort to raise the money it would take. (Jam's contribution would be less than half of the total cost). The athletes were initially very excited to go, but prospect of raising tens of thousands of dollars to cover the balance of the trip took a big chunk of the excitement away. I dont know what the status of the fundraising effort has been.

It was very frustrating for the coaches involved as well, because we had used the potential of that prize as incentive to go to the Majors in the first place. If they had been up front about what they were really giving away, we would not likely have ever made the trip. The feeling that teams were deceived will also greatly impact many teams' choice of where to attend in the future. That type of event only really works with the right type of teams there and it will now be much harder to convince that type of team to trust them.

They also never mentioned that part of the "free trip" included teaching clinics that Jam was getting the money for. I know we probably would have volunteered for it anyway, but for them to simply assume that we would do that was a little surprising also.

I don't know about CEA.

I can understand your programs situation, I truly hope they manage to fund raise the money! it will be a trip of a life time for your athletes, they are ADORED by the UK cheer community! I know we are heading down a day early to see the Olympic torch as it is travelling through Liverpool on the friday!
Please update us if you find out any information about Panthers coming over

To clear up another rumor - yes, we have enough strong boys to make a large coed again. (girls are not an issue) Our goal is to get 18 total guys, but we aren't there yet, so we are in "recruiting" mode for that specific type of athlete. We had that same goal last year, but only got to 17 by the end of the season.

The earlier those guys come in, the more training they get and the better the team will be. Many guys can get dramatically better over the summer while on the team.

What's the age limit? I'll come stunt for you, you just have to get me tumbling!

Tumbling is not an issue - between what we have and what we can teach, we are very strong. A couple more guys (18 or under on August 31, 2012) who can stunt or are strong enough to learn quickly would be awesome.

1. The bulk of the choreography is done in house. Dances are sometimes done by outside choreographers like Jonathon Lewis.

2. Is it your impression that our stunts are shakier than normal? That isn't my impression, but we are always looking for things to improve. It is notoriously difficult to objectively evaluate your own teams, but if you and/or others believe this then perhaps we should focus on at more.

1. I love Panthers's dance, who choreographed it? It's really the T.

2. Yes. IMO, I just think it could be better. More single based stunts for the boys like what you had this year would be great. I was not suprised Cali outscored in building portion of the worlds sheet. I think that's one area where CA could improve more.

3. Just imagine if CA Cheetahs won Coed in the Majors, you would even have more problems in fundraising.

4. Is Matt Smith still with CA?

p.s. BlueCat

my recommendations for cats:
Bengals
Ocelot
Liger
Golden Cats - it's actually african golden cats, but golden cats would be very appropriate ;)
Jaguarundi

1. Jonathon Lewis
2. Noted. It was not a shock that Cali outscored everyone in that category. They were great.
3. Cheetahs would almost certainly not have been able to fundraise that kind of money. Coed teams generally have more money issues than all-girl ones.
4. Yes. We have not selected new teams yet, but he did try out. It would be fairly safe to assume that he will be placed on a team.
