You can also look at videos of their old competitions, if they compete, or videos anyone might have taken at games they cheer at to see if you'd be a good fit for the team

This question really can't be answered without more information. The variance in skill levels from team to team is huge. For example, at the University of Oregon alone they have an Acro and Tumbling team that requires two bhs to full at the very least, while the cheer team there is not even allowed to tumble at games. Can you give more information about which teams you are trying out for?
