Glad it's not just me. I don't think I can name more than four or five individuals in ths team sport.

wow I can name a bunch of individuals from team sports! baseball football basketball all seem to have stand out athletes! this one too! watch the little league world series and you will see a ton of kids getting autographs from the stars there! Maybe the sport has changed enough that there really are athletes that others look up to and would like a picture with them or an autograph.

I think what scares me about girls nowadays has come from the seemingly obsessive reactions to their 'celebrities' that is being shown across the board. It's so much worse now that the internet is the way it is (so much access via twitter/facebook)
