@cccheermom--PE as last class is a great idea! Our district has a policy that enables extracurricular athletes to waive PE if they actively practice more than 2.5 hours a week with coach's signature, so I'd figured I'd have CP get a waiver. But! If I could arrange last period PE....hmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Thank you so much for sharing how y'all make it work!!

@piglet we just heard about some other team members using the waiver too! We weren't aware so nice to know that could be an option too. But so far having PE last has worked. Good luck!

I guess I am lucky. My gym is only 10 minutes away. 3 days a week, so it is really an easy commute. It is over some country roads, but no complaints here. Our gym is a little away from the main metro Pittsburgh area, so I am sure that helps.

I can be at the gym in about 7 minutes give or take, however I only live 6 miles away. I rarely get stuck in "traffic". And by traffic, I mean stuck behind a tractor or somebody's Granddiddy :p

Well I don't feel reading through all 10 pages, so if this was mentioned I apologize. I currently drive 42 miles to work one way in an old 02 ford escort. For an old car he gets good mileage but not good enough to justify about 500 miles a week. I started getting smart and I now buy gas or visa gift cards at Kroger... You get double fuel points for that. And shell takes Kroger points (only 10 cents at a time) and there is conveniently a shell right off the exit on the way to work and gas is about 30 cents cheaper out there. I only have about a 10 gallon tank, so I still fill up about twice a week, but I can typically fill up for between 15-30 bucks depending on how low I am. I know giant eagle has fuel perks like that and Im sure other places do too. It actually makes quite the difference.

That is a great idea about buying the gas gift cards and getting double points. I redeem Stop & Shop points at my Shell station too, so I will have to look into this.

Yeah I dont know why I didn't start sooner. I like getting shell gift cards instead of visa bc there is no activation fee. Only downfall is if there's gas cheaper somewhere else

I feel like I am hyper aware of all the gas prices between my house and the gym. The gas station on the corner near the gym, for example, I usually avoid because it is overpriced but I am grateful it is there in an emergency.

Oh yes I am a professional gas price hunter lol that's the other thing I use, gas buddy. It's an app and it'll list the cheapest prices by city, and it's been very accurate every time I use it. I will literally put 5 bucks in my tank until I can fill up somewhere cheaper

Same. I will drive all the way across town to the sketch area just to fill up.

Like why pay $2.80 and feel safe.... when I can pay $2.64 and work on gas pumping speed....

So serious question if you drive all the way across town just to fill up and it is only to save 16 cents a gallon and let's say you put in 10 gallons so you save like 1.60$ which is awesome. How ever lets say that trip was only 20 miles round trip and let's say you get 30MPG (I know I don't but some do) you just wasted like 2/3 a gallon so like the trip cost you 1.76$ in gas so now you wasted more time and 16 more cents than you had to?? Or were you just kidding??
