Twelve months ago I dislocated my shoulder cheering and badly damaged my rotator cuff when a girl fell backwards out of an extension lib and in my attempt to catch her, the arm catching was pulled out of joint. I then started to develop a fear of stunting and instead of just getting back to it when I was fit, I stopped cheering. This has massively knocked my confidence and I'm not entirely sure what to do about it when I get back to cheering again this year!

get comfortable with the basics again first, and work your way back up. make sure that you are using proper technique. most importantly have open communication with your coaches and let them know if you are nervous about a skill or if you feel you need more practice.
