There's been years where they have and years where they haven't. Unfortunately not everyone can compete in the arena unless we want NCA to last a whole week haha. And there's already a little discussion about it going on in the NCA thread.Very disappointed to see Junior 5 competing in Hall A this year after being in the arena last year! Anyone else?
Shhhhh lolThere's been years where they have and years where they haven't. Unfortunately not everyone can compete in the arena unless we want NCA to last a whole week haha.
I'm sure many lower level teams feel they should be in the arena as well. It is just not possible to fit every team in the arena. Fortunately most athletes who are on the younger level 5 divisions will likely be on a Worlds team one day and will get their opportunity to compete in the arena.I feel all level 5's should be in the arena...JMO

My kid competed Saturday and Sunday last year. Competing Monday and missing additional work and school this year is a let down for me - but life isn't fair. I know it's a bummer but I'm not sure what you expect the EP to do?But my daughter was in the arena last year on a J5. It's a let down this year.
Yes - the arena is already over capacity for the worlds teams as it is. It would be very difficult to put them in the halls. It's likely no slight against them, but they probably logistically need the biggest space for the teams who draw large crowds.
Special athletes are in the arena.Yes. One could argue:
*Special Athletes should be in the arena so they can feel as important as a Worlds team.
