I appreciate Bey's verse more than Nicki's. The elevator line got me in so many ways. Though I'm guessing Bey is featured on Nicki's next album based on some clues from a while back, so maybe Nicki will show up more for that one.

I know this topic is a few pages back but I'm behind and trying to catch up.

When I had ankle surgery, I had a handicap placard for my car. I was on crutches and couldn't walk very well for a few months. Anyways, an older lady took it upon herself to call me out in the parking lot of the mall near us and claim that I was abusing the system. I cried. Her excuse was that I took the spot from her, who actually needed it (so she claims). A mall cop had to intervene. It sucked.

ahhh i got an interview for a cook position at a catering company next week !!! finally....
has anyone ever worked in catering on the boards ?

My interview is with a chef so My biggest stress is if they start asking specific catering questions. I have no experience in this line of work, only in restaurants.
I would love to get this job, so I'm hoping it'll be a very entry level no experience kinda interview. Just praying for the best......

Just finished the final book in The Mortal Instruments series. Much to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it much more than I expected and felt it gave good closure to the whole series.

What are the best kind of shoes to wear when you're on your feet for like 8 hours at a time?

I work at JCP and work long shifts and only get to sit down like once and my poor feet hurt so bad at the end of the day I could cry.

But like I have to dress "business casual" so I'm not even sure how t incorporate tennis shoes

A lot of companies that sell no slip shoes, sell shoes that are made for standing in all day. They are comfortable and usually black so they go with everything. They may not be the sexiest shoes you have ever laid eyes on but they look presentable with most outfits and are comfortable, which is key. I also suggest getting some sort of gel insert. It's a little pricey sometimes, but I promise you, your feet will thank you.

@vannahlexis. . I was in the Navy. I had a uniform with a skirt. I wore Easy Spirit low-heeled pumps when I worked days. We did 12 hour shifts and I don't remember my feet hurting too much.

Just look for shoes that have "comfort" or something like that in the description.
