I'm gonna have to go on a rant again right now.
I understand the Billboard Music Awards were a week ago but this bothers me even more now. Why in the heck was Jordin Sparks a part of a Whitney Houston tribute? She hasn't been relevant since Battlefield, and even then she wasn't all that successful. Her voice was cracking throughout the whole song, and it didn't even sound that good.
Rant over.
In related news, Beyonce performed her first of 4 consecutive shows at the new Revel casino last night, and (commentary aside) this is my everything and on repeat right now.

That awkward moment when the 3rd place finisher at the Secret US Classic doesn't have ONE video of her performances..

Also- I just want as many girls from 2008 back. I loved them all and I want them all to be super awesome. I have NO idea who they might pick for this years Olympics, we have SO many girls. I wonder if it might cause a 'backlog' of gymnasts who end up going to Olympics later in life because so many won't make it this round.

I watched the webcast and I think I've made my decision for 4/5 team members... ya know, since I'm Marta and all I think Jordyn, Aly (she reminds me so much of ASac, who I love, and I gotta love another rep from MA), Maroney (obsessed with her vaults), and Gabby. I think that last spot could go to Nastia, Bross, Kyla, or maybe even Shawn if she competes ever again. I think Memmel is out unfortunately. Love her gymnastics, I just think she's unlucky and more of a risk than a reward at this point. Okay, I'm done pretending I'm an expert. Here's to hoping no one gets injured in the next month or so, and we see some great, polished routines!

It's SUCH a shame about Memmel. She's been SO unlucky, and she really is truly talented but her body just rejects it

I'm thinking Aly, Gabby, Nastia as a specialist, probably Jordyn (I REALLY don't like her gymnastics, lovely girl though), Maroney. Why only 5 this year?

This sounds REALLY narcissistic, but I was reading a quote in the tattoos thread that's apparently from a book. Which is funny, because I remember having that exact quote on my facebook AGES ago, despite the fact that I've never heard it before and I've never read that book.
