The front punch on LB is gonna be something eventually right? Like a front full or something? They look alright but they're always a team that needs to grow with the season.

Midnight looks very good and clean, I hope some of those fulls were doubles that were told to just throw a level down for showcase.

Reckless looks great! I'm not a fan of the rewind they did, I'd much rather see something that hits to extended lib I'm real tired of level six teams doing rewinds to prep. But overall they look great!

Smoed looks amazing! Especially for this early in the season. I'm interested to see what their tuck shushunovas look like with a better view!

Blops looks amazing as always! The team is super stacked with talent. It's insane the amount of well rounded boys in that division can tumble, stunt, and coed stunt.

I appreciate California's approach to modifying these routines to hit at showcase, I think the first performance a team has can really affect how they will fair in the season good or bad.

I love the look of Shushinovas on SMOED but they won't max out in jumps, I believe you have to land the skill to get credit for it.

You only need 3 connected jumps/2 jumps + 1 jump with variety to max out on jumps. They do 4 including the toe touch to shushunova.

True handstand stunts and not planks! It's a miracle!

Im loving blops but I feel like they are recycling the same elite stunt that theyve had for the past now three seasons. Everything else though I love...

LB yes! Finally a routine I can be obsessed with again. Even with their routine looking very watered down, I feel like they havent looked this strong since their 2013 worlds win, and with the added additions im sure they are to put in still.

Smoed's stretch to immediate arabesque - YES.

I feel like LB's reverse/backward handstand pop up is going to look great once the timing improves.

Also excited to see CA Midnight as Medium.

Is Reckless's rewind not illegal? I thought all flipping mounts had to originate from the floor?

It makes me wonder about how well people who create routines know about the rules. I was thinking about that today (I don't know why...). Imagine paying a choreographer and realizing that what he created was illegal after a competition and it is not because of the way you performed it.

Are you talking about the one to splits? If so: Level 6 stunts, D, "Exception 2: Round off rewinds and standing single back handspring rewinds are allowed. No tumbling skills prior to the round-off or standing back handspring are permitted."

The way I read it, that exception only applies if you go immediately from the tumbling skill into a rewind. The split would separate the tumbling from the flipping mount. You can do a BHS, feet land on the floor, then the rewind happens.

There's a clarification immediately under that exception that reads Free flipping stunts and transitions that do not start on the performing surface are not allowed.

Doing a free flipping mount from the splits clearly doesn't start from the performance surface.

Hence why Sick 6 had her go all the way down to a seat drop on the floor. So that split they do has to drop all the way to the floor for it to be legal AFAIK.
