NY Cheer is on the Reach the beach schedule as a medium worlds team
How big is their gym? I only see them on the schedule one other time - as an exhibition team. Rtb clearly states you need 50% of your gym to qualify for a worlds bid.

They also have a small sr 2 that was not in attendance in AC

I don't get it...you can have a illegal athlete at worlds...get caught and your not allowed to compete in the same division the next year, but you can switch divisions and its all good :/ why even have the rule.
completely agree on this, and looks like NY Cheer is trying to pull a fast one. They had several teams at BATC. If they are trying to get a bid at RTB this weekend they are breaking the rules. It clearly states on the RTB page that you need to bring 50% of your team in order to be eligible for a bid. Here are some results for NY Cheer this year:
Sm Jr 3 and Sm Sr 3

Sm Jr 2 and Sm Jr 5

Sm Jr 2, Sm Jr 3, Sm Sr 3, Sm Jr 4

Hope the issue is addressed with RTB

I agree and I'm sure that gyms that are complying with the rules aren't going to let it slide

Worry about YOU and YOUR Gym!!
Agreed but sometimes you have to do something for the greater good of our sport. Gyms that cheat bring our sport down. Everyone gets pretty tired hearing about gyms getting away with it, so when there is an opportunity to finally call a gym out it is good that people are willing to do so rather than turn a blind eye just because it is not their gym. In that way not only can the appropriate disciplinary actions be taken again a dishonest program but maybe the rules that allowed those dishonest actions to take place be looked at more closely and changes can be made if needed.

Worry about YOU and YOUR Gym!!
I am doing just that. MY gym follows the rules. Why should they or any other gym be at an unfair advantage to someone who doesn't? Sometimes social media is as effective if not more effective than trying to get USASF to minimize or eliminate cheating. I don't think any gym owner, coach, parent or athlete wants to see their gym plastered all over the board, twitter, etc. for cheating. The more times gyms are called out, the less we will have to worry about 9 year old flyers and 22 year old bases on Senior teams, kids crossing to 4 teams or more, youth age kids on minis, etc. I've seen it happen too many times and I'm willing to step up and say something about it. If you want to continue to allow cheaters to cheat, that is your prerogative.
