I posted this picture to answer questions. I appreciate those of you who didn't call my daughter a hooker. ;)

And if you want one, let me know and I'll tell you where you can get one and help you save a little money with a coupon. If your gym requires big teased hair, they are a huge time saver, not to mention that they save the hair from a lot of damage.

Edited to add:
I will address two things quickly before I officially drop this. First, my CP doesn't even wear eyeliner, so I'm not sure where the 'hooker eyeliner' comments are coming from. In those photos, she's wearing smoky eye makeup, mascara, a little blush and bronzer, and red lipstick. Truthfully, that's not much different than what I wear every day except that I don't wear red. Red lipstick is required for uniformity on all of the athletes at our gym.

Two, I cannot believe that her skills are being called into question because of the height of her hair or her makeup. Do you know my CP at all? Or any other athlete that you pass in the hall of a comp? What in the world makes you think that you are entitled to judge anyone's skill level by the height of their hair or their non-existent eyeliner? And to judge them as you pass them in the hall no less? That just seems a bit juvenile to me. But to each his/her own.

Thank you again for posting the picture. I think this is a fantastic purchase which would have saved my poor CPs hair from much of the abuse the various hairstyles over the years entailed.

You're most welcome! And you're so right. My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner .

If we do this hairstyle again next season, I am definitely purchasing one.

We do curls, but if we go to straight I am absolutely buying one! My poor kiddo has about 5 strands of hair on her head and it's so thin and fine I would love to stop damaging it from teasing.

You can curl them too. @mommadonna may have to curl hers this weekend. :)

I have seen them done and if I could find an amazing tutorial on how to curl them, I am all in!! I can straighten my hair, and that's it LOL. Thank GOD for curlformers otherwise my poor CP would be out of luck.

Here's my thoughts on it. If my cp likes it and it makes her feel good then I'm all in. If she wants her hair teased to heaven. Go for it. Life is lived once and if we aren't happy what's the point. I remember my own hair in the 80s. Permed to all get out ......bangs teased and sprayed so they could stand up and walk on their own and let's talk about our makeup.....

I did forget to add that we have been using a Posh Pony (curled) all season. Was it expensive? Yup, but worth every penny, for so many reasons! My CP's hair is not damaged, hair and make up (and everything else) is done in about an hour - at a leisurely pace, and if the schedule allows, she gets to hang out with her friends on Friday/Saturday night instead of sitting still while I put Curlformers in. We are more relaxed, having a better time and getting more sleep courtesy of her Posh Pony, who has been lovingly named Frank, by another Cheer Dad! SO worth it!

ETA - I must be doing something right, because I always have girls coming to me to do (or fix) their hair and make up at comps. I guess the hooker look is in.
