I agree, the only reason why my pants are really comfortable is because they are at least 4 years old, and have been washed to death! Thicker regular dress pants are needed though big time! I have a few pairs that are made from a thicker material and they are so stiff, and itchy. Not Fun!

Yes, the thick itchy ones are the worst! I usually just end up wearing a thin pair of leggings underneath so they aren't as itchy but that's still annoying.

I can't bring myself to wearing leggings under my pants because my building heat is so inconsistent. The offices either run extremely hot, or extremely cold, and our staircase doesn't have heat or air conditioning, so once you open the door to the stairs you are running your butt off to get to the next floor. The first floor generally has large amounts of people on it, so it is very unpredictable as well.

I just hide a space heater under my desk and put my feet on it for most of the winter. Even though I am not allowed to have it, I can't get through a winter without it. I was told once I should be happy that I moved to an office that has heat, because my first office didn't have windows, heat or air conditioning. It was just naturally cold because it had 2 concrete walls!

I've been wearing cute outfits to class latnely and I'm so confused because it's just not who I am in any way!!
I literally wear leggings and hoodies all the time but I've been stepping outside of my comfort zone lol.

I think I've been dressing up a lot more lately because I just love wearing dark/bright lipstick all the time and I can't wear that with like sweats and yogas lol

My increase in cute outfits has definitely lead to more insta selfies so like sorry followers but these are rare occasions!! Hahah

I absolutely love that the hospital I work for allows any colored scrubs, and we can wear hospital t shirts instead of scrub tops. I find that I'm almost always cold so I throw on my north face quarter zip most of the time, so awesome to be able to wear any color and that they're not assigned by department.

I always had an assortment of long-sleeve tee shirts that coordinated with my scrubs. I also had a bunch of jackets-both cotton type and polar fleece. I found that I couldn't wear no-show socks because my ankle would get closed too.

Today I went to the eye doctor. She put the letters up and was like "okay what's the lowest row you can see clearly?" NONE OF THEM. I couldn't see any of them! My vision used to change super fast and I needed new glasses every 6 months, but it slowed down a lot when I got to like 12. Apparently it's speeding up again because I went from a 4.5 and 4.75 to 5.5 and 5.75! I'm going to be blind soon...

I need someone to make woman's dress clothes more comfy. There's no reason dress pants that feel like sweatpants have not been invented yet. Or woman's clothes that actually keep you warm. I'm over wearing 16 layers in the winter because the fashionable clothes are super thin. (And see through....) It's the 21st century. Anything is possible!

Maybe then I'll consider not wearing leggings, hoodie, and flip flops everyday of my life.
I just bought 2 pairs of "yoga dress pants". I can't wait to wear them with sweaters.

so my Dad just finally became a dual citizen of Ireland and the US. I'm so jealous! He was granted Ireland citizenship by descent and we finally found his dad's birth certificate for him to register. unfortunately he had to have registered before my birth for me to get citizenship and without my g-pa's birth certificate we couldn't do it any sooner :( ugh. looks like I need to find a good irish man to marry ;) or live there for five years. anyone want to house me? :D I just really want dual citizenship. either way I am seriously looking into taking international boards for chiro and working there... a girl can dream, right?

Unless they've changed the laws again (and it's very possible) you can be registered in their book of Foreign Births very easily; it's essentially the same paperwork your dad needed to submit for getting his passport. Dh has his through his mother; I became a citizen post-nuptially 3 years after dh had his Irish passport (that law I know they have changed as you now have to live there and be married to an Irish citizen for either 3 or 5 years); and all 3 of my children have their dual citizenship and Irish passports through my mother-in-law. I believe it will transfer down through one more generation, so their children will be eligible for it as well. You should call the Irish embassy in NYC - or email them - and find out. They are extremely helpful there.

I know a lot of laws changed in 2005 (not sure what they were prior) but I was told that the birth of my father had to be in the Foreign Births Register "before the birth of the next generation." Because he was only just added, I can not claim citizenship because my dad registered (way) after my birth. My grandfather purposely never registered his children as citizens because he so badly wanted them to be US citizens and not held back because they were Irish... but grr for me. if you have any male cousin in laws or relatives back in Ireland hook me up! ;) lol just kidding. sort of.

Nobody probably cares BUT, I've suffered from SEVERE acid reflux disease & GERD (most people think they're the same thing but they have a few differences) since about sixth grade. I've been on Nexium for the past 9 years but lately I've been still getting heartburn almost every other day and i'm going to say LISTEN TO YOUR GRANDMAS REMEDIES. I recently learned mixing a tablespoon of baking soda in about a little rinse cup and drinking it neutralizes it instantly! Give it a few seconds, you'll probably let a few big burps and VIOLA! heartburn gone. It's seriously been a lifesaver.
