So they don't need to make orange small! When people say they should make a team in another division & have it be orange makes it sound like the gym only focuses on Orange, which I know is far from the truth. It kind of aggravates me.
I'll stop. Lol

I think they should leave orange right where they are. Crystal was giving me my Rays small senior fix and that was enough for me, no matter what name the team had.

Also that team is from a different gym I believe (Johns Creek maybe?) so putting a Marietta team in that division leaves not a lot of choices for a smaller gym like Johns Creek. Where are they going to get 36 level 5 athletes lol?

Let's stop worrying about orange and worry about bringing smoke back to medium coed!

Does anyone know why GT got rid of Rouge this year? I enjoyed their routine so much last year :(
One of the Love sisters was on this team, I had so much hope for them after Platinum (the team she was on) didn't do so well at Worlds 2013.

I mean priorities, right? Come on people!

I think that the reason the team was made in the first place was because there was a much Male talent as usually to make a successful medium coed team so they wanted to try and split that team into a small coed and small all girl, and this year was a better turnout boy and girl wise to make another medium coed this season

I'd love to see a sick GT Large Coed. Platinum in 2011 as semi limited was one of my favorite routines ever - so sad that Worlds that year did not go in their favor :(

Yes, the large coed they had a few years ago didn't do as well as I had hoped so I would love for them to bring it back and kill it!

I think the issue with fielding a large coed team is finding so many guys. With the exception of maybe Warriors, I feel like the top large coed teams have guys flying in from other gyms. I would say less than half the boys have been with the same gym the season before.

What year was this?

I've always loved the names Rays give their teams, Amber's such a pretty name, maybe a little too pretty (I can't imagine fierce voice overs with it).
this was actually one of my favorite mixes in 2012 especially with the voiceover at 1:09

So this is a bit random (and I hope I'm not hijacking the thread), but do large coed teams must have 18 males and 18 females? I'm asking only because I wonder if not having the full 18 males makes teams "less competitive". This is only out of curiosity. :)

They can have up to 18 guys. At what lower number they may lose a competitive edge at I can't answer. That would depend a lot on the routine.

**I should negative rate @ACEDAD for stealing my signature**

I think that most max out at the 18 males because it's easier to max out the "coed stunt" category by putting the max number of stunts up.

FAME Vengeance had what like 8 or 9 guys in the 2014 season and they held their own. You only need to put up as many coed stunts as the number of guys on the team so it's not like they would lose points for not having as many guys. I would compare it to Vizion 20/20 only having one boy in small coed when the max is 4, it's not necessary to be competitive, but most top teams will max out.
