All-Star New Uniforms 2015-2016 Season

I love our uniforms and that they are unique for each team. I think the concept is so innovative and was really excited to see what everyone thought when they figured it all out today. It has been a very well kept secret this summer.

As for having to buy more than one sports bra, I think it's great that the sports bra is incorporated into the design.. My daughter is too young to need real support but there have been no complaints that I've heard about a lack of bra.. Can't deny that it's already there!

It's great that everyone is concerned for the bank accounts of the families with children double/triple teaming. But while CSP did mention cutting costs for families at CEA it's also important to remember that she has also mentioned that no child is forced to complete on multiple teams. If buying an extra uniform shell is going to make or break a kid crossing over for their family, then it seems that they have the option of not doing it. Crossing over already comes with extra expenses as opposed to competing on just one team....therefore I'm inclined to believe that families that can afford this extra don't have a problem buying an additional shell. This (one time) expense in the grand scheme of all star cheer may not be as big of a cost raising deal as people are making it out to be.

I'll go out on a limb here and say I actually like that CEA does do many team specific uniforms. It shouldn't matter whether a team is a LVL 1 mini, junior LVL 3 or a senior level 5; each team deserves to be recognized and have their own identity within the brand of that gym. Is it the most cost effective? No. But as a parent, I like it more than everyone looking the sane until you get to the worlds teams. Just my opinion though.

I do like CSP's idea with the sleeves and they all looked great!!
The gym I was at briefly I was crossing over on 2 teams senior 2 and 3. There were no discounts for crossing over and they do team specific uniform so I would of had to buy 2 uniforms at at least £150 each. If they had the sleeves idea it may have made it a bit more possible for me to stay cheering, until I would of had to go to the gym extra but could not afford the gas.

My favourite was the C4 uni they looked awesome from the live stream

Big Red loves the GP uniform. She said it was super comfy (I was worried that the mesh would be itchy). The 'sports bra' idea made it so easy to get kids into 2nd uniforms for crossovers. I was worried about the choker, but it actually fits pretty lose so it wasn't an issue. She also said having the open shoulders made it cooler (as in temperature) so she didn't get so hot.

this angle is better it's just too much skin showing for me for a youth team :(

glad she likes it though. that's really all that matters

Love the fact that the skirt is actually long enough.

The top reminds me of an ugly Christmas sweater... And that font is a no go for me!

Imagine if gyms actually started selling bedazzled, oversized ugly Christmas sweaters in their pro shops...

For some reason I really like shade! (The front not the back) I'm liking all of the uniform fronts, but I hate the backs as they are just so open. The idea of them all having the same sleeves and skirts is great, personally I like having a different uniform for each team.

I found this on an athletes Instagram.
This is how the sleeves work.

This was originally posted in the CEA showcase thread but I figured it'd make sense to post it here.

Judging by how open backed all of the shell tops are, I'm going to go ahead and say there isn't much of a back to this either (if there is one at all??)
I like the concept to make it easier for crossovers but as a member of the bra brigade... And I'm sure you all know where I'm going with that.
Cool idea, but I wish it had a better design!

It's sad that after seeing the majority of new uniforms from this year and last year I want USASF to make strict guidelines. If you take the logo off most of these uniforms and take a photo from the chest up, they look like evening gowns. They aren't even cutouts anymore. Bare shoulders, bare backs - it is just ridiculous to me, and most of them would be gorgeous with full sleeves and backs.
I can't buy the ventilation excuse. Help us all if the male athletes start showing up with full shoulder and back cutouts, and I would argue that they sweat more than the female athletes. Gymnasts wear full leotards and are able to get through their routines just fine.
Thank you to gyms like Brandon, USA, Rays and PA for keeping some sanity in uniforms!

I personally loved all their uniforms. I do feel it is a little overkill though. If you want to tell the teams apart just have different bows for each team, that's a lot cheaper than a whole different uniform. I understand having a few teams with special uniforms but this is to much. Although I do love pretty much every one [emoji6]
