Soooo... The benchmark for stunting like a 'Real Man' TM is the double one-arm rewind. I'd be surprised to find out that there are more than 3-4 real men in the world right now.

Can I at least proudly carry the title of 'Wanna-be Real Man' TM in the interim, until I can get to that level.

Nope, your a sissy boy!

If she is old enough to be on a Worlds senior team (and has the skills) then I would start with her. The smaller the flyer, the easier it is. BUT if you have aspirations to stunt in college stunting with 12 year olds wont really help. I would say the 'average' college flyer is 110.

are you sure?? im in high school and our lightest flyer is 130. it cant be that different in college.

some high schools have heavier flyers. It is an accurate estimate to say that the average college flyer is 110 maybe even lighter.

In high school you have no options but to lift 130 pound susie...
In college, girls come from all over. giving the option of only having small flyers.
Im 5'9 and went to Texas A&M (who does not allow female cheerleaders) so obviously I did not cheer in college...
But.... my best friend who did cheer in college, was 5'1 and weighed right around 100... and she was considered the "fat flyer" ....

Moral of the story:
If you are over 115 and want to cheer in (coed) college.... you better be an amazing tumbler.

A lot of people are too fixated on size. It's not all about the size, it's all about the technique. Learn the right way, from someone who knows what they're doing and you WILL succeed. My flyer from my college team this year was 125-130 pounds (of pure, 8 mile run a day MUSCLE), and she was better then MOST 100 pounders. Yeah, she was heavier to throw but she was much lighter in the air. Same goes for little guys - just learn it the right way, don't cut corners, and put in work and you should at least be able to hands-lib ANYONE.

There are boys who can stunt
There are boys who can tumble
There are boys who can do both
There are boys who can do neither

Why cant we stop putting so much importance on what the boys do/do not do in a routine?

Because girls can tumble. Not saying that girls cant stunt. But whats the benefit of having a guy who can't stunt when you can just replace him with a girl that can do the same as him. Boys need to bring something to the table other than just tumbling that your average girl can do.

Once you double rewind cupie like a REAL man, facial hair automatically sprouts out of your face. Not some sissy stubble, we're talking full-on grizzly beard.

"Now that we're men, we have facial hair..Now that we're men, we've got a manly flair.."

This is not true I can grow a full on grizzly but can only do a regular rewind with a regular 80 pound girl ahaha
