CTA in Georgia is $110 a month w/o a class and $145 with a tumbling class $155 with a stunt class. If you have a second child that cheers the monthly for them is $55...or if they just take classes the fee is only $35 :)

Ours is $225 for JUST tuition (2 practices/week + one 1-hour tumbling class). We have to pay comp fees, choreography, registration, uniforms, etc. on top of that. I was used to $140 (I think, I know it was something close to that--maybe $120?) plus all the extras. We really love our new gym so I imagine we'll just suck it up and pay it--I mean I'd rather pay a little extra for a place we absolutely love going to than save a little and have a miserable year wishing we'd just gone with this place. But my gosh, no wonder people think we're crazy!!! I think I might have to move back to the south. :p

I wish they'd roll it all into one payment and include everything so I could budget for the whole year.
Hope your gym is good!

At Rockstar we offer 3 Tuition packages that customers can choose. The lowest priced package is $90 a month for next season ($85 this year). We offer sibling discounts, 10% off 1st sibling, 15% off 2nd sibling
Would you mind posting what the prices are for your packages and whats included?

One thing that our gym does is Payment Coupons.
It is just like a payment book for your mortgage or car loan.

There are 11 coupons for the 11 months of cheer.
Given out at the parent meeting.
The first coupon will say June-$260 (tuition $115- registration $75- practice wear $70)
We try to never go over $270 on any given month and always include in ( ) what the family is paying for.

They really love Feb, March and April because all of the comp fees, choreography, uniforms and everything else is paid for and it's just straight tuition. It is also nice for our "desk diva" because each family only makes one payemnt...and it's less book-keeping.

I like this. I love anything that helps me be organized. And one payment would be great!

In the Dallas area I've seen places range from $150-$350 a month. But my gym charges $200 I think. It gets pretty expensI've but it really depends on how big of a gym you go to and what they're like!

When we first moved to DFW I found programs that were priced anywhere from $60-$295 a month. Our first season I paid $250 but it included everything but her uniform. This year it was $175 (going up to $195 next season) but I had to pay everything individually.

Holy moly!!! Is your facility large? Not even in the expensive satate of California do they charge that much for just tuition. Dont think we would have very many kids at that price. We also have a lot of families with 3 kids in the program can you imagine that price times 3 a month. Our gym does an all inclusive monthly price which makes it easier to budget and you know ahead of time what you are paying and when.

They do in Northern California. And NO it doesnt include any of the extras. At some gyms it doesn't even include the tumbling class.

The tuition at our gym (UA) is $299 a month and that includes just about everything, competition fees, choreography, music, camp, 3 practice outfits, competition shoes, 3 bows and make up, and at least 4 hours of practice, 1 tumbling class, and 1 hour of cross fit training per week, plus unlimited open gyms. Not a bad deal when you add it all up, plus you get a 10% discount if you can pay for the season in full by May 31st.

Does UA have a sibling discount? Even without it it's cheaper, but I'm just curious. I did look at them earlier when I first moved to Chicago, but my only concern with UA is that it's reeeeeeeally far for me to drive and when I looked at the practice schedule for this year it looked like I'd have to be there by 5:30 four times a week for both my girls (they're 8 years apart, so they're never on teams that practice the same nights :(). Where we are now I don't have to be there until 6 or 7:00 each night. I don't know how my boss would feel about me having to leave work at 3:00 every day.

Yes, UA has a sibling discount, it is 25%. As far as the drive goes, we have families come from all over so you might be able to get in on a carpool. The age difference is not a problem either, we have mini 1 teams practicing the same night as level 5 teams so depending on what teams your CPs are placed on they might practice the same night.

just curious, which method do you prefer?? we are considering switching to an all inclusive type deal, but i'm afraid some parents will freak at the price jump!

For Next season, we will be $150 per month except for May, August and November which will be $320.
its "all inclusive" Cheer practices, uniforms, practice clothes, warm ups choreography music comp fees etc.
Basically everything but travel. Extra classes are extra.

I really liked the all inclusive at CA because it was a set price I was paying every month. When you have to pay yet another fee each month it gets old. We do have the option of including our comp fees into our monthly fee if we want, I will probably go that route this year.
If you explain it the parents that the inclusive prices includes everything, and show it broken down so they can see the comparison, they'll like it.

We pay $85 a month for my kids here in Oklahoma. Another nice perk is if you child does school cheer then they get half off the $85.
