I love twinkles so much! They're actually the cutest, most fierce group of girls i've ever seen. And they always the best pyramids. So if Maryland Twisters, Cheer Athletics, and CEA are the only youth 5s....they are only going to have competition once all season (NCA). Thats a little ridiculous.

If the rumors are true and CEA youth elite is restricted, I am not going to lie I am going to be a little bit irked. Now I know I sound a bit rude and nit-picky, but weren't they the ones adovocating very strongly to "save youth 5"-- free of restrictions? I get that they would want to have competition and all, but really now? It's like they threw such a fit to save a dying division, got what they wanted, and then were like "wait nevermind we want to be restricted now, thanks though".

again, don't quote me on it, but I looked at the rosters for this year, and it appears American Elite will be having a youth 5. unsure of restricted or not.

Wow, why would Youth Elite go restricted? Did a lot of girls age up to juniors?

We age off a lot of kids every year from Youth Elite. This year is no different. And it's kind of hard to speculate since we just posted teams on Monday AND they've had exactly 1 practice. However, if the staff is to be believed we are way ahead of the curve then we have been in the past few season's so..........I feel like Youth Elite will be just fine.

MD Twisters Frost is Youth5 RESTRICTED

Both kville and Raleigh youth 5 teams have a strong number of double fulls. Neither are restricted. From now til January both will compete separately ...The best of the two will be combined for 2012 Jan and Feb events and return to original membership for march events.

Got it, couple people above said they weren't when I posted, must have mixed it up . So now there is 2 gyms with unrestricted...oh hey competition?

Not sure if ECE will be going restricted or not, we havn't decided yet..

It is supposed to be restricted. At least thats what I heard from the parents that have kids on the Y5 team.
