Jamfest Europe is plenty popular...
To be honest its not THAT popular if you put it side by side with some of the larger american competitions itd look like a regional. But seeing as here in the UK we dont have that many competitions, of course we think its huge! The way i see it is Jamfest Europe only has events in the UK, they might aswell call it Jamfest UK. I think they are trying to increase the reputation of the Jamfest europe brand by having a huge cheer team come over, and really get there name out as being a fanatastic competition in not just the UK but the whole of europe! Theres no denying that our 'international' competitions in the UK have hardly any non UK teams competing, hardly an internationals. This is a great way for jamfest to get to the front of the internationals race and have an event that really does attract teams from all different countries in europe in all divisions. I also think this is the first step there taking to have competitions in many european countries not just the UK.
If i was one of the american teams invited to take part I wouldnt have second thoughts at all. Its going to be an incredible experience for these athletes, coming to europe from america is expensive! Ive just returned from traveling around america your flight prices are ridiculous!!! I dont think jamfest has anything to gain in america with this event, even though it will be fantastic to watch, I think the real gain is the positive effect this visit from an amazing american team is going to have on their european competitions and reputation.
Sorry for any typos, Im really tired lol
