Just trying to get everything straight...
-Whoadeedle/Apple are the same person who made a lot of friends but ended up lying about themselves and hurting a lot of people.
-ZTA was the new alias of deedle/apple and was a good contributor to the boards but was discovered, called out, and disappeared.
-Logan Monty is an unrelated person who pretends to be a lot of cheerleaders/claims to be on certain teams.
-Nicolle/Fiercesport are the same person who claim to be a model/on WC.

Now here's where I am slightly confused, is Nicolle/Fierce suspected to be ZTA, Monty, somebody completely different, or nobody knows at this point?

I got a slidey phone when I was in sixth grade with unlimited texting... Then I got a smartphone when I was in eighth grade... but my parents wouldn't let me have a laptop until I turned 16... a week ago (my brothers don't have phones, they're in sixth and eighth grade, because we have to have straight A's to get one.)
Apparently this isn't normal.... but where I live, most of my friends got phones in 4th and 5th grade, although most people got like a rumour or a flip phone... then in 6th and 7th grade people started getting iPhones, and by 8th grade a lot of people I knew had the iPhone 4, which I only got last April! So I always felt behind, even though I wasn't.
My AP teachers tell people "bring your iPad, bring your laptop, use that to take notes" and like half the class has their (personal) iPad out or their laptop out while he lectures... as a sophomore. We did a documentary and everyone in my group had a laptop and brought it to school every day, and they were surprised eek that I didn't have one.
I know like 1 or 2 people without a phone, and a couple people without laptops, but it's pretty rare to not have a phone by junior high at least, smartphone or not... I have a friends w/o iphones but I'd say the majority of people I know have an iPhone.
There must be something in the water here possessing everyone to get their young children fancy technology I saw an 11 year old post that she got a NEW (as in she already had one) laptop and an iPad for Christmas. I was like "WHAT? I GOT A LAPTOP TOO AND I'M WAY OLDER THAN YOU!!"

My parents always make it that we have to have straight A's in all of our classes to be able to keep our phones or they will take them away. My sister got her's in 7th grade while I didn't get one until 9th. And I've had the same iPhone since the summer of 9th grade- I think- (I'm currently in 11th) and I didn't get a laptop of my own until I had saved up enough money to pay for half of it. I know some of my friends say that my parents are too strict about that type of stuff but then again they have had phones since 6th grade.

I got my moms old flip phone after she got a new one when I was in the 3rd grade because my parents were seperated and it was needed. I don't think I got texting until the 6th grade and I didnt get internet until the 8th grade. I kept the same phone from 3rd- beginning of 7th grade when I got one of those slidey phones with the keyboard and I thought I was the coolest thing ever.

Thats what i'm confused about... how is it connected?

Sadly I remember this as well . Also remember using a portable word processor (that is all it did) that was made with a steel housing and weighed around 20 pounds.

I have (on more than one occasion ) told my kids they have no idea how lucky they are to live in the computer age when writing term papers. How many times would I get going on my typewriter and accidentally go past the bottom margin and have to type the whole page over again. They look at me and I can tell they really don't get it.

My parents didn't allow social networks, because back then there was To Catch a Predator and their fear was me being kidnapped, so they hated my picture being up.

But this could happen to any beautiful girl, like I said earlier with my friend. I hate to sound vain but the more 'attractive' you are, the more likely someone will target you. I have another friend who is Tumblr famous, but she has had no problems like the other one, whose face is all over the internet and has people begging to look like her.

We live in a small town with a small town newspaper and it is not uncommon for people to post their child's picture and say Suzy Soandso is celebrating her 6th birthday. I NEVER did that and frankly thought it was a little crazy. I will always remember a story about this beautiful boy of 12 who was targeted by a serial killer after his picture had been in the paper. I admit, all of my kids had their pictures and names in the paper over the years for sports or academic reasons, but they were in high school by then, not elementary (or younger.) It is just so sad that parents have to even think about things like that. And parents have to be smarter than their kids - or at least try. There was a young girl at my childrens' school who had two facebook sites, one that her mom monitored and one that all her friends knew about - that was where she posted the pics of her drinking and smoking.

Good parents. To be honest, I think her mom preferred to stick her head in the sand - it was easier than actually having to be a parent and dealing with the problem.

Every time I watch an episode - I find myself talking to the tv... trying to talk some sense into the people on the show about the numerous red flags! I always feel so bad when I watch it! I haven't seen the original one though.
