We wanted the division to be scored since the second team in 2002. Cheersport was the first EP to actually score the teams and NCA followed soon after. There are still some EP's (like JamFest) that don't score them, but we wish they would change.

I've gotten to know many special needs parents over the years of working with the division and the vast majority want the competition. They understand that their athlete won't always win. But there's nothing wrong with that.

Special needs athletes (and their parents) need to learn how to win and lose with grace just like any other athlete.

I am shocked by some of the placings, but then I'm not, looking at the scores there really was no room for mistakes. This division was too close for someone to have a falls and still place high.

Yesterday Spirit was originally in 3rd and contested legalities, boosting them to 1st...I am wondering if the scores were tabulated correctly off the new Day 1 score or if they accidently used the old score?

Varsity is just as bad. My daughter is the smallest size they make and I've had to have both of her uniforms altered...everywhere! Length, waist, taken in at the chest, under the arms, length of the arms and skirt, etc. Although it only cost me $60 bc I'm good friends w/the owner's son.

A simple taking in the waist or hem on pants is not that expensive though. I'm 4'11'' and I've been doing it for almost 15 years now.
NOT gk haha. I would Lovee to have gk uniforms, I've had too many problems with my varsity uniforms to like them.

Asking and smiling are totally ok. Staring not ok.

And yes, Special Olympics are judged and ranked and scored. It is the same. Give us the positive opinions and the information on how we can improve.
See... Exactly! Thank you! I wish more people understood this. Staring= what in the world is wrong w/you?! RUDE Asking and smiling= acknowledgement, better understanding and maybe "different" but not "freak", etc.
