Am I the only person who was "over" Lorde the first time I heard her? I absolutely cannot stand that song, her voice, none of it. I just don't get the hype over this girl.

I like Royals, but thats it. One of my friends even said that all she really does it talk in that song. Its not really singing.

I like that kinda style. That sorta casual rap-song-stuff. It's good for casual driving/subway riding (if you're me lol).

Sometimes you just want an easy flow to lip-sync along to. Some moments I don't need to 'be' a diva, I just wanna vibe-out.

I like the style too. Just not THAT song. I can't put my finger on what it is, vut every time I hear it I want to do whatever it takes to get away from it.

Speaking somewhat of P!nk... Has anyone else listened to The Great Escape or Beam Me Up? They're 2 of like 3-4 slow songs on her new album and honestly, in my opinion, 2 of the best songs she's ever done.

I think because it's so small and it often just got grouped/included as another part of the knee. It seems like not everyone has the part either so that could also play a role in why it wasn't discovered until people took a deeper look.

I guess I just don't consider age a factor in what I like to hear. I either like a song or I don't. Couldn't care less how old, what color, or anything else about the person. To be perfectly honest, I don't even take talent into consideration - there are lots of people I think are talented and I still hate their music (Jay Z to name one). I just like what I like.

That being said, I think she's NOT talented at all. She sounds like any other 17-year-old half singing/half talking a song. Not impressed.

Idk if Little Mix's new album is out, but I downloaded it today from some random website, and I'm OBSESSED. Their first album was decent. Had like 3-5 good songs that I could listen to. This one is flawless start to end. I'm so happy they're opening for Demi when I see her.

I dont get how people my age are getting married and having kids when I cant even remember to feed my cat when Im home.

This. I can count on two hands people that went to my high school that have babies and/or is married, and I graduated in 2012....I'm over here just trying to make it through college not tryin to have a kid or anything yet lol

Right????? Oh my goodness. My first year of college, 4 girls out of a team of 19 were engaged. FOUR! Now two of those girls have babies and another one is 6 months pregnant. The oldest is 21. I could not imagine having a child at my age. And I know three other acquaintances through college who are married/expecting. And these are all college students, and not like grad students, first or second year of college students!!
