I googled... No never heard of them. The idea or thought of buying real food at a gas station is so beyond foreign to me. Like when I think of gas station food I think of those shriveled hot dogs and sausages on those rolling platform things with the light. More often than not, thats what you'll find at a gas station down here.....Unless Bojangles or Burger King is attached to it


I still really want a chicken caesar wrap....the one on the Wawa website looked pretty legit...

Not all WaWa's have gas stations...but I believe any new one's they build do. It's actual sandwiches, soup ect. I'm there at least 3 times a week, even if it's only to get a coffee on my way to the gym.

Yeah I read on Wikipedia that only half of Wawa's have gas stations. But I went to the website first and the banner was a Wawa gas station.

Oooohhhh no. The Sheetz is the shizzzz. Touch screen ordering from the grill. Yummmmmmm. The one around the corner from the kville gym actually comps coffee, soda or tea to the carpool parents since the three Charlotte carpools and the Raleigh carpool Always hit the Sheetz before getting on the road. They're so nice with, "drive safe! Stay awake, need anything else?"

Funny story: had a SE/coed practice go lonnnng (not out of the ordinary, we call it "Courtney time"...you're done when she's done...whenever that is) and the coed kids walked in and the manager said, "there y'all are! You got out LATE tonight!"

To which we found much hilarity that the Sheetz people just know when to expect us.

But it got better... CSP told the story she apparently hit the same Sheetz after we'd cleared out that night and the manager said something to the effect of "that crazy lady kept y'all late tonight" so she reached across the counter and shook his hand introducing herself as that "crazy lady."

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

She told the story much better

Seriously... we need a wawa - but even if we got one it would just be out in the burbs so I'd still never get to go. :'(

Before we moved to Chicago we had one at the entrance to our neighborhood, so I went like twice a day. And now my life is just empty, hollow, wawa-less shell of what it used to be.

Haha, just kidding. It's a gas station similar to wawa. A lot of people are either a Wawa person or a Sheetz person.

From what i've been told by two of my friends who are now on Top Gun that used to live up here near philly, the Wawa down there just doesn't compare.

Healthy snacks - make your own granola - mash bannana, oatmeal, chopped nuts and cinnamon. Bake till brown/crispy.

Mug cakes are my favorite - banana, oatmeal, protein powder, honey, caco - Pam spray a mug - micro a minute - remove to plate - spread peanut butter on top, a slice of banana, sprinkle with cinnamon and dig in. Yummy.

Peanut Butter & Co makes awesome Peanut Butter - Dark Chocolate Dream is my favorite. 1 tbsp of that and a banana or apple and I am a happy girl.
