I love that the "Senior Elite" chant is done by so many of the CEA teams now - Mini elite, youth elite, junior elite and jr coed off the top of my head! Its adorable!

I don't think there is anything wrong with saying "you've got to cheat us to beat us". Its cute and harmless.

As long as it's been a long standing tradition, I'm fine with that chant. I never really knew what they were saying after "we want it bad." I do see, however, where some eyebrows could be raised with the "you've gotta cheat us, to beat us" part, especially with the NCA video that said the wins weren't earned.

Please don't hurt me.

I never really bothered to listen to the whole chant or figure out what they were saying, and I'm sure there are other people like me who never knew what was being said until it was written out.

If anybody's interested there's a JTV video on YouTube and it uses video footage from years past and the first SE team is in it doing the chant. I'll see if I can find it but, I'm on my phone. Lol.

I always thought it was "cheat it to beat it" so less specific to the team, but I guess not. It's a tradition so I'm not that bothered by it

That's how I took it when I heard it the first time. Never even thought of it another way since.

No butt smacking??? I think Usasf has sunk to an all new low. We got over age kids on teams and nothing happens. Sandbaggers? Nada. Kids competing for 2 different programs in the same day? Jamfest says ok!!!

But , nobody better butt slap each other or DEDUCTION.


Did it ever occur to Varsity that these kids can't talk/breathe 45 seconds into these routines? How does it hurt the Allstar image for them to pat their flyer on the butt to say "you've got this" ?

Maybe before we worry about harmless butt smacks we could control the drinking, partying and sex that runs rampant at the Allstar resort. There, I said it.
