Their execution is so so so refreshing. And this is probably my favorite Brandon dance since they danced to Space Jam.

Side note:
If more teams chose to focus on execution before difficulty, the cheer world would be a better place. I wish less would sacrifice cleanliness for "creativity" or "difficulty".
Well said...so very impressed with their cleanliness this season[emoji106][emoji1]

do you mean like transition/choreo wise? cause besides the backbend handstand on TGLC(obsessed with) everything everyone is doing has been done before...

Read the original post. I was talking about one particular stunt load-in & sequence I happened to see in many routines at the time. Since then, I am seeing more without it (thank goodness). No critique, just something I noticed and mentioned.

This is so true, and I wish the scoring at competitions better reflected this. It is a shame that the push towards more difficulty in recent years has, in my opinion, led to a lesser focus on cleanliness.

i read it, i was just wondering what you thought was unique about the other ones.

I think she meant that the teams NOT doing the inversion are being unique. I have to say I kinda agree with her. This was something pretty new a while back. The first time I remember seeing it was Orange about 4-5 seasons ago. LOVE did it their first year back in 2012-2013. This year it seems EVERYONE is on the inversion bandwagon...and not just in LAG, but other divisions as well.

@garretttt I'm pretty sure Orange have done that inversion in their stunt section for the last 3/4 years now. That's what I think the original poster was meaning - and I agree. Its overdone. And I also know its not just Orange, I'm just using them as an example since they always do that same stunt.
And yes, people can argue that its the same as every team doing a tick tock in their routine every year but I just don't think its the same.

Of course the above points are completely null because Stingrays create their routines for the judges and not for the fans, don't they

Just like tic tocs, it scores points. Many teams have been doing the inversion for the last 2 years.
