It may be unpopular but I'm kinda with Meaghen's dad on the ordering, I always make my son go ask for the check in restaurants because he hates it and I'm paying haha
So tonight I've found out my 12 year old son is the cheer dance fashion police. I can't remember what the first team he felt the need to comment on was but as he left the room to go to bed he said "you'd think if they could afford to fly all the way to Florida they could have bought nicer...
The first I was aware it was a possibility was in September but I don't think there was anything official until a few months later. I know a lot of countries had selected teams or where in the process of selecting when it was announced
I'm not certain but I think it might have had something to do with ICU's agreement with Sport Accord. I know they had to agree certain things with FIG to be admitted as members, and FIGs biggest issue was the similarities with Acrobatic gymnastics.
This wouldn't explain why they drop Jazz though.
My stream is working fine apart for the sync between picture and sound at times. I had thought some where just time but the music stopped and people keep dancing
I know from the UK you are allowed to stay for 90 days without needing a visa. However if you were to then fly home for Christmas and return it would start a new 90 cycle. This is risky though as if US customs think you are living there and possibly working, or if you are travelling back and...
I didn't cheer as a child but danced. My stepdad always complained about how much it cost, on top of my classes at home I had to fly to London once a month for class as well. Plus my mum was awful at making costumes and I have a talent for picking the most expensive thing when asked what I want...
Some gyms never close practice for child protection reasons. I've worked at gymnastics gyms that would have freaked out if I said I wanted closed practices no matter how many coaches were in the gym. It was fine in one where they were behind glass in a viewing room but in another it was just...
Also if I remember correctly you have to be 14 in the year of competition for elite and 17 for premier but that may have changed

Same here, after taking ages to design the new uniform for my previous gym I'm really struggling with coming up with something I like for my new gym.
Heck it took months to decide what colours to go with as I didn't want it to be like any of the other gyms we would compete with regularly.
I coached acrobatic gymnastics for many years and if you competed with a visible tattoo it was a deduction.
I was lucky that any gymnasts I had with tattoos where easily covered, a few had to wear wrist or ankle supports when competing to cover it.
