I have terrible luck with phones I have verizon, I've had an old flip phone, the voyager, the env touch, the droid 2, and my blackberry. my batteries never last or I actually break things on my phone. My droid was awful and didn't have a good battery and it was slow and sent me texts like 15 times of the same text. My coach and choreographer have the iPhone they love it. a couple of my friends have it and don't have a lot of complaints. Battery wise, I've heard it's amazing and I've also heard it barely makes it through the day. I would say if you just want a good "business" phone where all you're going to do is text and maybe tweet a little or facebook status I would go with a blackberry. You can listen to music on your blackberry but it kills your battery super fast and unless you want to buy taptalk fierceboard is not really accessible unless you feel like waiting forever for it to load. If you want more games and fast internet for youtube or even fierceboard or listening to music and stuff I would go with the iPhone. I love my blackberry most days but I may switch when the iPhone 5 comes out and when my contract is up.

I love/hate my blackberry !

Things i like:
-blackberry messenger probably my favorite thing
-great for texting
-you can copy and past things easier
-great calender
-great to keep track of schedules and reminders
-amazing battery life

Things I hate:
-no apps
-slow internet
-new software makes the phone run slower
-i loved my blackberry had almost no complaints until the new software now my phone freezes more and is super slow. sometimes i text and it texts a while to catch up with my fingers if that makes sense.

i'm also on team android! my mom and sister both have blackberry's though, my mom always complains about hers and how there's such a limited selection of apps. so definitely either an android phone or iphone!

IPHONE!!!!! Cannot stress enough. I also lived in Blackberry hell for three years. I had sooo much trouble with it!!

The iPhone is everything I need packaged into one. I cannot remember my life before and cannot imagine my life without.

I used Blackberry's for several years and really liked them, especially for my work email, which is critical for me.

Our work arrangement changed last November and they started reimbursing us instead of providing the phones. My family is with Verizon, so I needed a phone that was in their network. Really wanted the Blackberry Torch, but they didn't have it.

So I got a Droid Pro because it had a similar keyboard. Used it until June and it was the worst phone I ever had. I had two different handsets and they both died and I could never get my work email consistently. After some issues fighting with Verizon, I finally decided to get an iPhone 4.

I love it like I've never loved a phone before. It does EVERYTHING I have asked for it to do without one single downfall.

While I really liked the Blackberry's, I am betrothed to the iPhone at this point. And the iPod part works like a charm!

I love my iPhone!!! It's an awesome phone even if you don't have a Mac though I honestly considered becoming a Mac person because it is that awesome!

I'm team iPhone... Before that I had an HTC and it was ok.... I love my iPhone.. It's so easy to use and even my technology-challenged mom can use it!! The only problems I've had are trying to watch some videos because it doesn't support adobe flash... Also with trying to delete music.. For some reason my iTunes won't let me delete any music off of my phone (it could be due to my jailbreak though....) and it's seriously annoying.. Also, it will sometimes restart itself.. Once again, I don't know if that's normal or due to my jailbreak... I tried using my friend's Android and it was too complicated for me :p So, I'm team iPhone all the way (However, I'm NOT a fan of Team AT&T.. They seriously need to go die in a hole or something...)
you need to delete the music from your itunes file on your pc...the n sync with phone....:)

Not financial...?...LOL but it's the fact that I don't have a signal. EVER. I use about 20 minutes a month because that's how much time I can get the phone to work. And when I ask them about it their answer is "Oh, yeah...the signal isn't strong inside the city." Well...that would have been nice info to have when I bought the phone and told you I lived and worked IN the city.

Well I just wasn't sure why people don't like AT&T because I always have service every where I've been. But I just may be one of the lucky few.

I may be biased because I work for AT&T Customer Care but not only am I customer care- I don't take regular calls! I'm only skilled to take customer care calls of people who have IPhones! So they call me an "iPhone Specialist!"

Every customer I talk to loves their IPhone they all say they had Blackberrys before and there glad they don't own them anymore! I don't hear much about androids. We didn't really get them till recently and most people are brand loyal to apple so there not switching from their iPhones to androids.

I would say hands down IPhone is the easiest phone to use.

It's really a nice phone and apple is so easy to work with. They will replace your phone if u say it has a problem. Even if it's like an intermittent problem and you can't show them that when you exchange it because ironically whatever problem you have never happens when you need it to. They don't care they are about customer service and that's really nice. Years ago before I was switched over to only iPhones anytime someone would call with a blackberry issue it is frustrating because blackberry didn't want to help unless you got a credit card on file to pay 29.99 for them to help even with a general question!

There is so much more but any specifics on the iPhone just ask and I'm sure I could get the info for you!

As far as this whole AT&T / Verizon debate. I personally think AT&T is better and I had both Verizon and AT&T before I worked there.

The person who said that when Cingular went AT&T the prices went up. That's not true!
Cingular bought AT&T and honestly AT&T had better plans for cheaper. And unlimited received text messaging and nights starting at 7 for no additional cost.

They let you keep your plans- it's against the law for them to change the price on you.
Now what you probably did was do an upgrade and or renew contracts and at that point in time they can tell you if you do that you must choose from current plans. So it's not that they changed the name and went up you just had different plans to go to.
& they can't force you to upgrade!!!

After Cingular bought AT&T they wanted to change the name and take over the old AT&T name for better brand imaging! So it's still technically your same Cingular company that you have just a new name. In fact it was Cingular buying AT&T that caused for the higher plans! Trust me the old AT&T plans were the truth!!!!
Also for anyone who still has an old non smartphone that's AT&T if you don't believe me go look in your settings for your Internet it still says "Cingular" that's how the network is and everything!

Also I'm not saying you don't get dropped calls and I will agree that some places Verizon service is better.
However their are studies that show that generally in the north Verizon is better and the south AT&T is. Out west it's generally mixed! I'm not saying AT&T is better everywhere in the south but generally has better coverage down here.
Also I will say my dad still has Verizon and I have AT&T we both have iPhone 4s and when we went to San Antonio, Tx from tennessee a few weeks ago I had coverage the whole way! Now granted it wasn't 3G the whole time but I could use my phone for both talking and surfing the whole time. My dad on the other hand lost service several different times for periods lasting 15 and 20 mins but I will say he had a little more 3g then I did!

Also at&t's claim of more bars in more places is correct! It's not saying everyone you will have more bars then Verizon but it it is saying we have more Global coverage!! In over 220 countries we provide service with your phone!
With alot of phones and countries with Verizon u have to call them and get a world phone for temporary use while there!! Now that's a pain to deals with before you are going out of country!

As far as cost they are almost identical however AT&T proves u more for the SAME amount of money. Like unlimited mobile 2 ALL mobile carriers and rollover mins to name a few.

Also they allow you to upgrade sooner then Verizon!!

Sorry- it's obvious I love AT&T and no for anyone who loves Verizon I'm not downing them I'm just comparing them! Yes there are reasons to like Verizon more because I know it depends on where you live and commute to. So if I go some where else I'm not saying I would never own Verizon again- I'm just saying overall my choice is AT&T!

I love ATT too...several times I have called because we have 5 phones and there was a mix up and my bill was HUGE....they always reversed over half the charges...amazing customer service...I love it

Well I just wasn't sure why people don't like AT&T because I always have service every where I've been. But I just may be one of the lucky few.

I think it's all in where you live. Chicago is definitely NOT an AT&T place. But when I am not in Chicago it's great.

Also at&t's claim of more bars in more places is correct! It's not saying everyone you will have more bars then Verizon but it it is saying we have more Global coverage!! In over 220 countries we provide service with your phone!

Oh if you look at my screen I have bars all the time. ALL THE TIME. I never don't have 3 or 4 bars. But I also never can actually make a call or send a text. :banghead: So I don't know that "bars" are very accurate...but I'm sure AT&T has more bars in more places. But I don't need bars on my screen. I need to actually be able to use my phone.

I agree on cost, I think they all cost the same with the exception of T Mobile. They were hands down the cheapest and best service I ever had. I wish I'd kept them and would switch back to them in a heartbeat if I could. When they say $50/month unlimited talk text web, they MEAN $50/month unlimited. My bill was $62 every month. The only reason i switched was to go on my sister's family plan (thought it would be cheaper) and now I'm paying twice as much.

Now what's up with this sooner upgrade? I thought they were all 2 years? Can I switch sooner? I don't know if I will because I want to run out my contract and switch companies, but just for fun...can I get a new phone sooner than 2 years?

i love blackberry and iphone out of the two you would have to show me a nice @$$ blackberry for me to switch. im team android though because of the htc they are my life :)

but blackberrys are fierce and i love apps on iphone
